Experience was fun. A little frustrating that they sell tickets for smaller children but don't have the coveralls/boots in sizes for those ages but we worked it out by rolling up the oversized coveralls and using tape to secure shoe covers.
All gear is highly disorganized. Coveralls were not organized by size so you spend a lot of time digging for one you can make work. Boot pairs were equally disorganized with mismatched sizes and often left in groupings of the same side. But eventually found a pair in my size that wasn't two right side shoes.
The splatter experience itself was fun. Kind of silly that you get 5 bottles of paint no matter how many people there are. Not a ton of ways to play with the paint aside from the squirt gun, single drum , blow dryer and the spin mechanism had to manually be spun and there was no stop mechanism so you kind of stand around waiting for it to slow down to a full stop once you're done.
It was fun, but an hour to paint a small canvas was probably too long. With there was more opportunity to play in...

The pick up for this studio is less than ideal and I’ve been to many art studios where you have to return to pick up your pieces. There was no process or system in place. Throwing people’s art away without contacting them seems a bit lazy in my opinion. Doesn’t take much time or energy to shoot a quick automated email or phone call. It was a while (like months) but in my defense they aren’t open every day and only when there are bookings. I went once - an hour away - and they were closed. Call before you go and just make sure you pick up within a couple of weeks. I’ve learned my lesson for sure. It was something we did for my birthday so it definitely is a sad occasion.
Had a great time with Nick and Caroline tonight. So much fun creating your own art. There’s no wrong way to create and they make it...
Read moreI would not recommend this place. We did the Splatter studio for two people. It came out to be $112.80 that includes to dry our painting. We was given 4 paint bottles (Red,Pink,Orange, & Blue). We was not told about the limited paint colors they had, otherwise we would have not painted. I mentioned this to the staff and the staff just said sorry. They could have gave me a partial refund or opt out of charging to dry the paintings. There wasn’t much to work with in the room. The canvas was very small. Just some drums and cups w/patterns. The paint was very watery, which we was told but it was hard to paint since it was so watery. We stayed for 20 min out of an hour time slot. I’m not sure why this place was rated so high and no one was there but us. This explains why...
