I love that everyone I've come across in building ,both staff and residents, is friendly. Always saying hello.introducing themselves, exchanging floor numbers/apt numbers. It really makes it feel more like a community as opposed to just a big building full of people who put their heads down and ignore everything and everyone.
I had initially been concerned about living so close to a college dormitory but that concern was unfounded. It's as quiet and peaceful here as one could expect living in the middle of Jersey City. Actually a bit more quiet and peaceful than one would expect.....aside from the construction noise next door which is really not all that bad on eastern side of the building.
Last but certainly not least, the maintenance staff and concierges are great! They're not just professional and friendly. They never do "just what they have to" they always go above and beyond, doing everything they can to make living here a better experience. Even if I just happen to see them in the building doing something they always say hello and ask about the family and the fur babies.
I can't say enough good things about the concierges. They too are always professional and friendly and will go out out of their way to make living here a better experience. Both the concierges and maintenance staff never do "just what they have to" and I think that should not go unnoticed.
I haven't even mentioned the amenities. Too .any to list - gym, lounges, outdoor "quad" on the 3rd level with TV, outdoor movies, life size chess game, many lounge chairs to tan or relax, bbq' grills and...
Read more10/10 experience. I love living here! I’ve been here for almost 2 weeks now and it’s been perfect. Joe Beukers was wonderful. He helped me with touring and applying to my unit. He’s truly the best. He’s so knowledgeable and patient. He also provided so many details and was helpful every step of the way.
Here’s why I chose this unit: There’s a shuttle that takes you straight to the Journal Square Transportation Center which is great if you work in the city. The ride is about 15-20 min and there are two shuttles so if you miss one, the next one comes quickly. Luxury building and cheaper price compared to other buildings. I toured other places in Jersey City and this unit comes with things others do not. This building is so clean and always smells great. It’s also so quiet. There’s laundry in unit which was non negotiable for me. The windows are high and it’s just so beautiful. The people who work here are also so kind and helpful. Depending on the time of year you sign, there is no security deposit and they give you an extra month free rent. The area is also safe. There’s a university nearby. It’s walkable—there’s a convenience store around the corner, QDOBA right across the street, a pharmacy that’s around the corner as well, Five Guys, Carvel, Domino’s, etc.
I highly recommend touring this place. I genuinely feel like it is a gem. The shuttle is a nice thing to have, the PATH stops are only a few stops away from wherever you work in the city, and the people who live here a kind. Management is helpful. The building is always clean. There is...
Read moreI have lived here since 2022 and has always been my recommendation for people to live in. But not anymore. Ever since the new management took over, this place has been not worth my monthly rent. The hallways used to be vacuumed DAILY to keep up with the cleanliness but now it's only being cleaned weekly and people are disgusting! In the last 3 years I have lived here, I have never seen a bug in my unit and now this year and end of last year I've been seeing bugs almost every month and I am a clean person!! The trash rooms used to be emptied out every other day, now it's just a weekly thing and the hallways stink! Just today, my AC started leaking and it reached all the way up to my bed. I called the emergency maintenance line and first of all, it's not even an emergency line because it's just basically submitting a regular work order through the phone and they'll "add it to their list". The on-call maintenance guy lives in New York and asked me if "this is something that can wait or it has to be done tonight". My AC is leaking and I'm not trying to have any water damage that will end up being charged when I move out so yes this can't wait. Why doesn't maintenance live closer? They don't have to live in the building but at least 10-20 min away not a whole state away?? The old management maintenance was better. They attended the next day to your request or if they had free time, they attended 20 min after you put the work order! This is definitely my last year living here because they increase the rent but decreased the maintenance. Very...
