I will never come to this park again. Came early (about 9am) on a Sunday morning. When I arrived at the park, I was already kind of hesitant because it's tucked off. Almost seems like it's the neighborhood park and maybe not open to the public. The park itself is very nice, clean, spacious, has a nice playground for kids and about a half-mile walking trail around the park. I specifically came for the dog park, which was a disheartening and lackluster experience. When my dog and I arrived, there was one lady with her dog in the large park. Dog was off leash, running around, having a good time. As soon as my dog and I entered the park, she immediately took her dog, put him on a leash and sat in a far corner of the park. Dogs are at the park to play (or so I thought). My dog and I started to walk around the train inside the large dog park. Moments later, 2 other ladies and their dog entered. Same thing. They looked at us and sat in the opposite corner of the first lady. Dog on a leash, no play at all. We finished out lap around and proceeded to leave the park. As soon as we were out of the fenced park, both parties unleashed their dogs and the yard was what a dog park should be. Maybe it was me, maybe it was my dog (an almost 8 year old Staffordshire terrier with a happy disposition and reconstructed back leg) but yea. Totally unwelcoming experience and I will not be back. Really felt bad for my dog more than anything. He really just wanted to run around and play.
Update. After some research, I have confirmed that the park does in fact belong to the neighborhood, so that explains my experience better. Since I googled and found the park and am not a resident, I feel like that explains the...
Read moreWe love this park! There are 2 separate yards, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. They are always well maintained and very clean. The grass is kept clean of dog poop which is always a plus! Our big teddy bear King loves to go and play with other dogs. There is also a sidwalk walking path in the large dog yard, which is great. Also, a bonus, if you play pokemon go there are tons of stops and gyms. It's all around great place. There is also a playground right next to it and a walking trail all the way around that had little exercise stations. There is a stretch of green too for anything from soccer, football, baseball, or kickball. It has easily become one of our favorite parks.
The only down sides are that there is nowhere to get water, so make sure yo bring your own. Also, there are no bathrooms, unfortunately, and the parking lot is small. But we...

There's a ramp or stairs that lead you to the entrances. There are seating areas for dog parents to watch their pets social, interact, exercise and play. There's a playground right next to the dog park, so if you have tiny humans, it is extremely convenient, but no restrooms. There are several rules to follow and I do occasionally see pet parents break these, but so far, we've never experienced an issue. There's a walking trail around the dog park and playground. There are workout stations around the park. The parking lot is extremely small and I have seen broken glass in the lot, so needless to say, DON'T LEAVE YOUR VALUABLES IN...
