I was in the drive thru line for atleast 25 min and I noticed cars infront of me leaving as well as cars behind me without getting there food. I knocked on the first window and asked what is taking so long can you give me an estimate 1 guy said they were short. 1 girl who was kind of short said either wait or leave and a worker by the name of Alfredo said man were busy either get back in the car or leave. I asked could I speak with the manager and they all said she was busy. I asked again and they said no. I asked again and she finally came to the back. I said mam what’s going on she said she’s short staff. . I said ok I understand that mam but how long do you think it will be. She said 25 min. I said mam I been waiting 25-30 min already. Can I get compensated with a discount or something I just got off a 12 hour shift. She went over my whole question and just looked at me. I said can I get your name the store number and your boss? She said sure, left the window and never came back. After talking to a few customers who asked me what was taking soo long I realized she wasn’t coming back. I asked 1 guy what the manager was doing he said he didn’t know. I asked Alfredo and he said he didn’t know. I said what is her name he said he didn’t know her name he was knew and she was too. The car infront of me left so I pulled up and asked the guy what was the managers name he said he thinks Tanesha. I said thank you but wasn’t sure if he was telling the truth or not. How can you be short if people are just standing there on their personal phone? Or people just walking back and fourth. If your that short you should warn customers it’s going to be a 20-30 min wait and ask if we want to wait that long. I can only imagine how much food they wasted on customers in Drive through that just left. What happend to good customer service? Wanting the customer service...
Read moreThis year Whataburger and the Houston Rockets are working in collaboration on a promotion to give to their fans. For home games only, if the opposing team misses 2 consecutive free throws the audience members present at the game are supposed to be able to get a free Whataburger. This is not an unusual promotion. Over the years, they have often done this with other food places. Once a couple years back I did the same promotion but at Jack in the Box with no issues. So I decided to go to Whataburger with my Rockets ticket in hand to prove I was in fact at the game last night. At least 3 staff members had never heard of the promotion what so ever, and the one who did seem to be familiar with it said you have to download the app...I don't recall them saying that last night...I only heard them say if opposing team misses 2 free throws in a row we can get a free whataburger, and then when this happened and the opposing team missed the shots, they announced we all get free whataburger. I even took a picture of the big screen advertising the promotion which I also showed the Whataburger employees. Nothing on it said anything about an app. To each their own but I'm not going to download every single food places app. Thats just not for me and thats not what was said. I ended up leaving with nothing but how hard would it have been to just honor the promotion to showcase quality customer service in this situation? Read more8/16/2025. Ordered the Wrangler burger, medium onion rings and zero sugar lemonade for curbside pickup today. Order took longer than they stated waiting 10 minutes longer than their stated time. Tall skinny guy came out and gave a order to the lady next to me then gave me my order. I asked where the receipt was he said I can get online and print it myself. I asked where are my onion rings, he said he forgot them. I asked to get the rest of my order and receipt which the receipt is always given to me. He refused and backed up raising his hands saying he won't tolerate violence. I asked what's your problem, he walked to the lady next to me then walked off. I got out of my car headed inside asking repeatedly for his name and he ignored me. I got inside and asked for the manager and young girl said she was the manager. The guy told her in front of all the other customers I was cussing him and got violent. I told her that's a lie, I want the rest of my order and receipt and his name. She told me his name is Nick as she gave me my order. I walked back to my car and discovered Nick gave me the wrong drink. So I had to go back inside to get my drink corrected. On my way out, the lady who was next to me got fed up and went inside. Nick messed up her order too and left her sitting outside never came back to correct her order. No apology for the poor service. And to top it off my food was cold. This location has gone downhill ever since previous manager Darnell left. Very POOR...
