Vision Quest VR & Arcade — Attraction in Johnson City

We found this place while visiting Johnson City, and had such a blast that we ended up going back the next day! An amazing experience, and the price is quite reasonable considering what a unique opportunity it is to experience VR. The three of us shared an hour session, and it's almost as fun to watch your friends try it out as it is to play! They have a wide selection of games (some with multiplayer options), so there's something for everyone, from escape rooms and zombies to arcade style games, feeding dinosaurs, and exploring the world. Cool place but the manager, Megan, needs to learn some customer service skills. While mid playing a VR game, I felt someone grabbing my left ankle. Startled, I lift my headset off to find the manager yanking my shoe off and rudely informing me that shoes are not allowed on the mat. Upon arriving, we were not told to remove our shoes. I would have been happy to remove them if asked but wait until the game is over or politely tap me on the shoulder. Don't just come up and start taking my shoe off for me! So rude!!! And then after while my family was watching, she interrupted them to tell us about their specials. I will definitely think twice before coming back here. Our homeschool group had a party at this venue. It was a new experience for all of us. We were very impressed with the service, cleanliness, and gaming experience. As a mom, I liked that I could see my child AND see what they were viewing. I was able to plug in my computer, use their wi-fi and get some work done as the venue does not have loud head-banging music in the background like the old arcades. LOL - what was I expecting? Honestly did not know what to expect, but I will go back. The owner and staff were attentive, friendly, and dedicated to the children having a great experience. Highly recommend!
