This place is amazing and clean. Me, my husband and our son had the pleasure of dining in over the weekend for the very first time. We loved every bite of our food. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The biscuit I ordered was so very buttery, soft, and yummy. It was the best biscuit I've had in a very long time. The gravy was perfect, and my pancakes came in a pair. I only ate one as they were huge. My husband ordered the Coastal Crab Cake Benedict. He said that was amazing. I will definitely be ordering that the next time I come in.
My only issue was the waitress. I asked for lemon when I ordered my water and she never brought it, so after I took my son to the restroom, I had to ask again when we she came back by to take our food order. Our food comes out, and she asks if we need anything else. More syrup and extra napkins, please. Neither one was brought to us. We waited and watched as she was just talking to the other employees. We didn't quite understand why she didn't grab them and just bring the stuff. It's like she got to talking about something random and completely forgot. There wasn't but 3 tables taken up (us in included), and it wasn't as if she was busy. Had she been busy, no problem, but just talking to her employees after we mentioned what we needed was just odd. Don't get me wrong, she was really nice, but it's like she was in another universe. After we were basically finished, she asked if we needed anything. More drinks, but we were basically done, and then I got kind of annoyed and said napkins like we asked for when the food was brought out. We no longer needed syrup because we had leftovers and could just use the syrup we have at home. I had to use it sparingly to save what little was left in the bottle she gave us for my son. My son is extremely messy, so that's why we really needed the extra napkins. Between syrup, jelly, whip cream, and sauce, we needed them.
Nonetheless, this place earns 5 stars for its amazing food. We will...
Read moreI'm business owner my self and also in customer service and I'm a disabled customer of this place since they opened and ask could I sit down at table that was two seater and no one was sitting at and the greeter said yes , after sitting there for less than two minutes the waitress older ladie name of Sue came over and ask me to stand up . I replied I'm disabled and am customer also and she told me could stand and wait and looked fine there was no place to sit at waiting area had about 15 people waiting , I waited total of 28 minutes for my food that was the whole time sitting in a warmer bag and no one knew. I replied to her I am sorry but Ive been disabled for 20 yrs and can't stand for long periods and she said you look fine sir , and her not being doctor , I told her thats fine and stood up she walked off and talked to another customer that was older ladie and said (some people he looks fine , he can stand up and laughed ). At that point i ask for the manager cause I felt like I was being shamed ,I fell like it was discriminated against and she made a scenes with the other customer that acting like it was all my fault , cause I'm only 40 yrs old and disabled and should have not said anything at all about what happened . The management gave the food for free Amanda was very nice but said she shouldn't have done that ,but I was very disappointed in their staff and how it was handled . Want eat there again , this is sad happened on Christmas time of all times . Very poor service for everyone that was waiting and had to hear that . I had older ladie stop my outside and said she's very sorry that...
Read moreWent to eat here last a week ago, and I wasn't impressed at all, I do have to say we didn't have to wait to long to be seated, however that was the start of the experience going downhill, first we were seated in a a tablet that I believe was way to crowded elbow to elbow in there, not only that there's a bar were people were seating and our table was way to close to those people, so our waitress asks us what we want to drink I ask for strawberry lemonade which I have to say was awful it was way to bitter, then shecame back and asks us what we were eating so I asked for steak homage potatoe fries they were nasty, with that I had a steak my preference was no pink well done the steak was pink oozing blood out so much that I had to stop it from oozing onto the rest of my food with napkins so not at all how I asked my steak to be, the only thing that was somewhat good was the eggs that I had ordered with my food, for dessert i asked for the bananas French toast foster and it was way way to sweet not only that, they had poured caramel on top of and it i had dried like it had been setting for a while and was just microwaved or reheated somehow, but the caramel made it so hard to eat or even stick a fork into the bread also the dried up caramel damaged the roof of my mouth, in all this was not a great experience maybe they had a off day but I will not be going back to this establishment, next time If i wanna just eat eggs I'll go to waffle house or McDonald's being that the eggs were the only good thing this place did...
