Second Wind Sports — Attraction in Juneau

Couldn’t believe the quality and the price of the equipment and clothes I found here. While it is consignment/second-hand the quality is always good, but the prices were phenomenal. Bought several high quality items of both equipment and gear for less than $100.

Beyond that the staff at the front that day was extremely helpful and was able to answer any question I had and even offered to lend me a piece of gear I asked where I might be able to find. Highly recommended first stop in searching for any outdoors, sports, or otherwise...

One of the best second hand outdoor and sports gear shops I've been in. The inventory tends towards camping, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor pursuits over athletic or team sports gear. Except hockey, Second Wind has a good selection of hockey gear. Good for kids gear too. Fair pricing policy for buying and selling, the longer something has been on the shelves the cheaper it is. I'd give it five stars if they had more floor space, it's packed tight in there. There isn't enough floor space for big items like...

We love this place! A good consignment shop treats their consigners well and understands they’re also shoppers—these guys hit the mark. The staff are especially kind and friendly, and I never feel pressured to purchase. I have two kids that grow out of things quickly. I hate to pay full price or purchase brand new things (it feels very wasteful so I avoid it when I can), and Second Wind has been a lifesaver. Juneau is lucky to have a consignment shop...
