After doing extensive research on lodging options in Juneau, I truly believe Aspen Suites Hotel stands out as the best choice in the area. The location is incredibly convenient—just minutes from the Juneau International Airport and with easy access to all the main roads. Whether you’re coming in for sightseeing, business, or outdoor activities, this hotel serves as a perfect hub. We drove by the Super 8 and the Wyndham Travel Lodge and each looked sketchy. ||Juneau doesn’t have a wide selection of hotels, and Aspen Suites clearly sets itself apart. It was, by far, the cleanest and friendliest property we encountered. The rooms are well-maintained, and the staff does an excellent job keeping everything spotless. One of the big advantages is that the hotel offers air conditioning—something not all places in Juneau have, which can be a big plus during the warmer months. Also the Kitchenette allowed us to shop for food and save on “eating out”. ||The hotel also features a large, clean, and well-equipped laundry room, which is incredibly useful if you’re on an extended trip or coming back from Alaskan adventures in need of fresh clothes.||The front desk staff was helpful and courteous, and while the building has three floors, there are elevators and multiple luggage carts available to make check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.||If you’re visiting Juneau, I highly recommend considering a suite at Aspen. The extra space and amenities make a big difference, especially after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and great service—all at a very...

The booking process was very stressful. I was trying to book directly through the hotel and I kept getting directed to a third party. I’ve had bad experiences with * and prefer to book directly with the hotels. The hotels were showing full for July 2nd, apparently due to the holiday. I found the Aspen Suites and booked it for $258. I felt that it was extremely expensive for what seems like a budget hotel. I understand the supply and demand concept but I felt that I was being gouged. When we arrived at the airport I tried calling the hotel to see if they had a shuttle and I couldn’t get through. It was around 8:30 pm (not like it was the middle of the night). We ended up taking a taxi. When I checked in, the lady was not pleasant at all and not very helpful. I signed a paper that stated the rate for the night as. $228 including tax. I asked for a copy and she refused. The next day I spoke to the manager, who was not unpleasant and he explained the process of booking through a third party which I already knew. Obviously, my first impression of Juneau Alaska was not good. The next day I realized that the majority of the people were not friendly. In general they are not tourist friendly at all. First and last time for Juneau and definitely the Aspen...

The hotel looks good outside and inside for a 5 year old hotel. The room looks good. The kitchen, bathroom is clean. The be looks good until you sleep on it and feel kinda itchy feeling the whole time I was there. Only thing I don't like is that cleaning the room is extra unless you stay more than a week. Other than that my stay was pleasant and it was better than the other hotels in the area.

Great location and great look, but lacked some of the amenities travels usually look for in a hotel. No store to purchase food items (only a vending machine), no complementary toiletries, no pool, and an ok weight room. The laundry room was above par for a hotel. I gave an extra star for the hot coffee that was always ready at the front desk.
