Review for 'Paws in the Park' 2017 event that took place earlier in October.

Event was sponsored by WIRK country station, 97.9 and a few other stations, but yet 0 stations were there? 0 stations had an area playing music. Kinda pointless if you ask me.

Just based on the size of the event, it was pretty small. Local vendors selling items or dog info, an agility course, running course and an area where you throw a ball and the dog jumps into a huge pool.

There was supposed to be a Halloween contest, but yet there wasn't an area where you can register the dogs nor many dog owners at all took part in dressing them up.

On a downside, there wasn't even an area where you can let the dogs run free and play with the other dogs. It is mandatory to keep them on the leash.

Other than that, it was less than we expected. I feel like your better off taking them to a real dog park to have fun than going to another...

So if you drive a truck as your personal vehicle don't book at this place! We were basically informed that trucks are "low class and junky and associated with construction people and they don't allow them to be parked on their property" . Our truck is anything but "low class" it's a $50,000 truck, owned by a veteran that served for 15 years so people like them can treat people like us with discrimination. Blame it on your "homeowners association" all you want but bottom line is that YOU enforce this policy by threatening to tow them if they are parked overnight. I'm still trying to figure out how this can be allowed, it's discrimination and it happens to be...

This is one of the largest ocean front parks in Palm Beach County and a great spot for sunset colors behind silhouetted palm trees. The property stretches from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean. The sand is wide and the edge of the water has limestone rocks that are easily seen at low tide. The Lazy Loggerhead Cafe is open until 2 pm so breakfast and lunch items are available. The parking lot is huge and plenty of covered pavilions available. Pre CoVid there were concerts at the amphitheater and sports leagues.

Enough parking, but it has stairs to go from the parking to the beach, didnt see any ramp. maybe they have but couldn't find it. beach is spacious and was super blue, it was clean, lots of waves, not really big ones but enough to have fun. lots of shells. I really enjoyed this beach. lots of people but not crowded. enough space. Its a nice beach but didn't want to take pictures because everywhere were people. saw those 2 kids sitting together and it looked so cute that i took the picture. obviously not showing their faces.

This beach is one of our favorites in the area. We drive 3 hours away to visit. The beach is never over crowded and the sand is perfect. The walk to the water is not long and there is always plenty of free parking! Great spot to find sea shells! But Beware of Jelly fish certain times in the day. There used to be a snack shop there, but after covid, it shut down. But I saw they will be opening up an oceanfront restaurant soon! Water is usually super clear, too!
