The Oasis Hot Tub Gardens — Attraction in Kalamazoo

Despite a few issues, I'm still giving it 5 stars because of the attentive staff who clearly look to make things right for their guests.

First issue, and not at all the facilities fault... the previous guests were late leaving our suite (Isle Royale). Staff let us know and offered a free scent, which we declined. They let us know we'd still get our full time in the suite despite the late start.

Second issue was with the temp of the tub. It seemed to keep changing hotter and hotter. We called up front to ask the temp, it was at 104. The sign says temp goes only as high as 102.

We asked them to turn it down, and it did cool off for a bit, but suddenly spiked up again even hotter than previously. We were going to leave anyway, a bit early, just because my neuropathy was acting up... so it wasn't a huge deal, but definitely be mindful of the temp when you're there. They'll gladly alter it at your request!

Bit of advice if you have ANY sort of foot pain: BRING FLIP FLOPS! The mat on the decks between the doors and tubs is a nightmare to walk on if you have sensitive or painful feet. I'd rather crawl on broken glass than ever let my feet touch those mats again!

You may be wondering if I have anything good to say, with so many complaints... I DO! Many things!

First, everything here is very clean and elegant. There's absolutely nothing skeevy about this place, the staff or the atmosphere.

It's all very tastefully decorated. The staff is well-groomed and polite. It was a weekend night and most of the staff were young college aged men. I suspect this is deliberate... I'm sure some guests are troublesome, and having so many young men on site discourages problems.

The tub was very clean and appeared well-maintained. I didn't care for the shower, as we could not seem to get the water warm, but it was also clean and very spacious. I loved the changing area with a nice space to hang clothes, a good quality stereo system, and a very comfortable padded bench for sitting.

We REALLY enjoyed our visit here overall. I was a little apprehensive going at first, as I'd never been somewhere like this... but wow, what a nice time we had!

And just a suggestion if you happen to be someone with neuropathy - you may want to ask them to turn the temp down to its lowest to start. I ended up having a really rough aftermath because I did not know that neuropathy can be really touchy when it comes to hot water. On the upside, the day after (today) has been one of the best feeling days I've had in ages!

We will definitely be going back here as often as time and finances permit. It was worth every...

Let me start by saying I have been coming to this place of relaxation since my birthday in 2018. I recently started coming more regularly because I need it....working two jobs beats my body up and the hot tub is a great way of unwinding sometimes I come alone and sometimes I bring company. I purchased a membership on 10-21-2020. I visited on 12-12-20 in one of the inside rooms for the first time it was great then I visited the same inside room on 12-20-20 when I entered the room I noticed that the water wasn’t clear🤔 so I had to use the restroom and came back and my company had started the bubbles and jet and then suds appeared immediately and then dirt so I addressed this with staff and the young man said well that’s from you guys 🤯and I said I haven’t got in yet and that I have never came here to see my tub in this condition so I began to pack up my belongings and saw they started filtering the tub but that was it.....it didn’t get emptied or cleaned so I still got in because my feet needed the jets I suffer from plantar fasciitis and my legs were achy from working 71 hours last week so I made the best of this situation but I wasn’t happy with this particular visit and I will return this week as I stated my body needs this and I pray that this issue never happens again!!!! I hate that my first review written had to be this one 😩I come during the week and weekends never had this experience and I hope it never happens again !!!!!

I am very pleased with my latest visit to Oasis’s 🥰on 12-27-20 I had a mix up with my cards on 12-24-20 where I had to cancel my reservation and reschedule for the 27th the staff was very understanding he I didn’t get his name before I left but he allowed me to go home and search for my cards only to find out that I left them in my work locker I called back to let them know what had happened and they didn’t charge my card I would thank Kyle and Ashlen for being kind and patient with me while I was going thru this mix up the general manager even reached out to me after I sent her a email about my prior visit she even offered me a certificate which I thought was very professional and kind I have visited 5 different theme rooms and I do like the Egyptian room the best the jets hits my shoulder and feet sooo well 😊😍I had the Mayan this past Sunday that was awesome as well clean and clear from the beginning to end which is how it usually is thanks Oasis Hot Tub for putting a smile back on my face and the customer service when my daughter and I arrived was fantastic thank you Dave😀 See you all soon have a great week be safe and...

hot tub in hotel broke so they sent us here, when making reservation asked for certain room names from brochure, asking for indoor fire places, guy had no clue. Arrived, asked if we had a fire place, nope, but said would hook us up and rushed us down the hall. Put us outside! It was snowing, I know some people like this but we asked for inside, fireplace was so far away and so cold didn't matter, if it was there or not.

Wasn't planning on going, hotel sent us with partial gift cert, so didn't have a hair clip, took 4 showers at home to get chemical smell out of hair.

Showed us where to change music, but no station #'s or type, just have to channel surf till something sounds good.

Didn't explain where the buttons were to change bubbles, wasn't even sure if there were any. Just had to feel around in the dark, and cold, then play with them to see what happens, 1 did nothing.

I got out once to use bathroom, didn't go back, out side in cold, to use hot tub again.

Maybe used tub for comfortably for 20 min after playing with music, then buttons and getting out early.

Mentioned to guys walking out wasn't fun, they didn't want to hear it, didn't ask why, just cleaning up, and closing.

We didn't know this place existed, and will never return.

Rating was based on above experience, because can't prove the rest.

We know we had his wallet when we checked in (used card from it to pay gift cert balance), went straight to hotel, and his wallet was missing, (didn't even go inside yet, he was giving me a room key, while he got things from car). Called, they said nothing was left, went back and begged, (doors locked but, went in as another couple was leaving) had baby photos & ID, ss card, $50-60 cash, med cards, said could keep cash, as reward....
