This place was a nice splash pad, but there is a charge for entry of $1.50 per person in the water. So we only paid for the kids. The seating is kind of limited, but there's a large shaded area with pine needles on the ground, so if you bring a blanket or chairs, you can utilize that space to escape the heat. We went in August and it was blazing hot. The bathrooms were not really nice and smelled like urine. I've been back to the park on a different day and the bathrooms smelled like urine then too. The parking requires quite a walk. My kids are bigger, but if they were all toddlers, I would bring the double stroller. My kids enjoyed the water for a long time and were not ready to leave when we parents were, which is a good indicator that we could return for future fun. There's a nice playground in the same park, and a train and carousel, so there's a lot to do, but I'm guessing those cost money. So if you don't want your kids begging you to do extra activities, then don't go here. The train circles the playground regularly. As for the splash pad, I'd probably go somewhere free next time. If they improved the bathrooms, then I'd feel like the entrance fee was making a difference. But it was too run down for me to justify paying for a sprinkler pad when there are other options...
Read moreSuch a BEAUTIFUL and FUN park! The open field by the pavilion where you first come in....then the beautiful carousel! I haven't ridden one since I was a child, so to ride with my Grandson was truly special! The train ride is so fun for the kiddos. Taking the 4 minute ride around the park and waving at everyone is fun! The two large play parks are super fun for the kids and there's plenty of spaces for you to sit in your chair (which they allow you to bring in)! They also sell concessions at this part for extremely cheap. While you do have to purchase tickets for the train, carousel and splash pad (that's only opened during summer months), it's only $1.50 per ticket. I truly loved this park and will be back even in the...
Read morePark is very nice. Clean and lots for the kids to do. Only downfall is the amount of bees and how aggressive they are. They are all over the splash pad and were crawling on my kids, we ended up leaving early because there were so many everywhere. The splash pad is pretty dirty though, lots of food under the tables and bees swarming the full trash cans, this might be why the bees are there. I took my kids to the picnic area to dry off without bees swarming them because there were none there. After 2 minutes of us being there with no bees, there were 10 around us. It’s like they see people are fly towards them and no amount of shooing will get them to leave....
