Atrium Health Ballpark — Attraction in Kannapolis

What a beautiful ballpark!!! We love walking around the park and walking through it, even when there are no games being played. They play music at those times, it's so comfortable to be there. And there's a park inside the ballpark for kids to play, during a game, or when there's no game. The surrounding areas of the park are pretty much breathtaking!! There are swings, and very cool stores and a brewery! If you go down one of the side streets across from the ballpark, there's a tiny store that sells the most amazing popcorn!!

From what existed before, to where the ballpark is now, and everything that surrounds it, you will not be disappointed, whether you go for a ballgame (highly recommended to see the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers play!!) or just for a walk on...

Had an amazing time at the game, however their prices are absolutely ridiculous for food. Their prices are much more in line with what you'd expect to pay at a Major League ballpark. I bought a very stale bun & tiny hot dog, (definitely wasn't the standard 6 inches like most are... Lol!!), small fries, & a non-refillable souvenir cup, (camenas a meal), & my husband had chicken tenders, small fries, and a non-refillable souvenir cup, (came as a meal as well). He also added on a tiny little bag of Cracker Jack's, & the total was just over $43 with tax & a 10% tip. The ballpark is beautiful and the team is fun to watch but one of the things that makes the place exceptional is their staff. Over the past 4 years of a attending games and also holding fundraisers at the games for a nonprofit I lead, my staff, volunteers and clients have consistently been treated with kindness and joy. They go the extra mile to make sure we have a great experience and everyone I have encountered seems to genuinely enjoy their job. I appreciate their involvement in the community and the face that the ballpark is open to the public for walking and other events. I am so glad to have such a beautiful ballpark with such amazing staff in my community, and it's fun to cheer on the Cannon...
