We held my eight year old sons here today and had a terrible experience. They have recently removed the bars around the rink that helped kids who are learning to skate. My son was very upset about this He fell several times in front of his friends and was hurt and embarrassed. There were pvc frame skate aids available to rent for $4 each but there were not enough of those for all the kids to have one. There were about twenty total for the whole rink.
As far as the party went we were not told all the details of who we would be expected to pay for until after we had paid our deposit. We received a letter in the mail stating that we would be required to pay for parents who wanted to skate or they would have to pay for themselves. When I had asked on the phone when reserving the party, I was told that one parent would be free with each child. Additionally no handicap seating was abailable. The party area which they had made sound like a seperate area on the phone was just seating in the snack bar which is raised by one step. Since my mother is I need a wheelchair we had to sit at two tables that were around a corner from each other so not all the kids could see each other. After talking to the supervisor, nothing was done to address any of the problems we had. There was no apologies for lack of communication. The attitude was just very that's they way it is deal with it. Her reply to my being upset about the lack of bars was to say that they offer classes. Not helpful.
All the other staff were very polite and helpful. One of the younger staff members offered to put on skates and take my son out of show give him a little help. He was very friendly to my child and actually seemed to care that he was having a bad time at...
Read moreWould not recommend this place to go to. This place if you do go the skate floor is nice and the prices for food and to get in are great but they will just take your money. Don't play the games there they don't work and if they manage to work the you can get as many tickets as you want but the ticket counter doesn't work and they won't give your money back or offer you a prize(s) for the money you spent on there games.Very poorly ran they are (lucky we didn't go off on them). I have been to better place that gave you more skate options do yoh don't hurt your feet and better control over the pepole who are skating on the floor. When whe where there there where pepole who was trying to make others fall and someone who keeped knocking people over. Before pepole start saying well why don't you go back to the place that was way better. I would but unfortunately they closed there doors years ago. I would love to see this place...

Recently had a birthday celebration here. It's Pros and Cons visiting here. One being the birthday package do not come with at least one or two pizzas. Paying almost $200 for a package with 12 skaters and just a two hour table. More food should be included besides unlimited popcorn and the watered down pop.
Pros: Safe Environment, Skating, Price Per Skater, Kid Friendly and the host James.
Cons: No pizza included in the birthday package (add ons only), they charge a extra $5 per skater for the support railings (should be included for children skaters), the pop watered down, bathrooms needed to be cleaned (monitored and cleaned more often like every hour to avoid the kids...
