Target — Attraction in Kansas City

This is more for the Rowan piercing place inside Target rather than Target itself. I took my 7 year old to get their ears pierced. We arrived way early because they were super excited and chomping at the bit, figured we’d kill time inside Target until our appointment time. Appointment was super easy to make by the way, all online. Anyway, Misty was wonderful. An absolute blessing for a nervous kid and mom. She explained everything she was going to do BEFORE she did it, was calm as cucumber and super efficient, not to mention just very friendly and kind and patient. Can’t say enough good things about her honestly. Also they were out of the earrings we actually wanted, but she substituted the better quality ones instead; but still charged the cheaper price. Called corporate and everything to be able to do that for us. As a single mom that’s not rolling in the dough, I so appreciated that. Would’ve been real easy for her to just tell us they were out of them and ask us to choose something different. Meant a lot.

Highly recommend Rowan in Target for ear piercing. It is a little pricey, you buy the earrings and the piercing is free. Stainless is the cheapest and it’s 55 for the pair. However, they also give a “certificate of bravery” which is awesome, a lil drawstring backpack, ear care solution. We've received 8 orders within the past year & a half that have either been missing items, contained expired or opened products, or incorrect quantities (i.e. 2 potatoes vs 2 bags, 2 bananas over 2 bunches, etc). In fact, order pickers have even quite literally broken off two bananas from other bunches when they arent even sold individually, & have opened entire bags of organic potatoes when they aren't sold individually either. This is a picker issue, but continuously occurs. While the majority of the managers have been kind, cordial, & willing to assist, it seems the same excuse is consistently provided; they have "a bunch of new young people working back there". As a business owner & professional, I always make sure to show respect & provide constructive feedback to other leaders, & the leaders at this particular store have been very cooperative & equally polite. However, there seems to be a continuous lack of oversight & follow-through when it comes to the assurances given, as the same issues continue to arrise. While we appreciate the gift card gestures, what we truly seek is a remedy to the situations that continue to arrise with our orders. It seems never ending, & the cop-outs are getting a...

Went in with 2 receipts, one only 5 days old and the other was 10 days old. As outlined in their price adjustment policy online, customers have 14 days to get an adjustment. The girl at Guest Services told me that’s incorrect, they only honor prices within 1 week/7 days of original purchase. I pointed out that on the Target website it stated the 14-day price adjustment policy, and she just said “well I was told it’s one week.” She then told me that any items that are a part of the current promotion cannot be honored, which I also found online where it stated the items/the current promotion are able to be honored. So, I went to the next Target (Skyview Ave), although further, but they did have some additional items I needed that Target on Barry Road did not. Once there, they honored the prices for the promotion with no issues. Not sure why I was told at the first location (Barry Road) two incorrect statements as on the Target website it clearly states the policy. I would have just asked for a manager had I not needed to get some items they didn’t...
