Troost Park — Attraction in Kansas City

Like most things in the third district, it has potential and people in this area deserve their own slice of beauty too but... poorly kept. The people that frequented the area don't prioritize getting rid of their trash and the city doesn't care to manicure the lawn and trees enough for me to rave about it (I've lived in the neighborhood for seven years.)

But it has its moments. Covered in snow, it's as beautiful as anywhere and I love it the most in the stillness exemplified in the photos I've provided.

The basketball goals in this park are a joke and need replacing. I just wish city officials prioritized this area of town as...

I live very close to this park and most of the time it is maintained pretty well. There isn't a lot to do here but it does have a nice little playground and it does have a couple small basketball courts and a walking trail. It's mostly just nice to have a decent size patch of green grass and trees. Could be better if there was a little more landscaping, but mostly if people quit leaving broken bottles and drug paraphernalia...

Homeless ppl sleeps here everyday...urine on slides...drug paraphernalia on the ground...not to bad in the daytime but keep a close eye on ur kids and belonging because there is always homeless and drug addicts walking around and also there is 2 halfway houses(convicts) right across the street... But there is a police...
