My wife and I stayed here last Thursday night, this place is super funky in all of the very best ways. The first thing that I noticed was the condition. Either this place is brand new or the owners are just that meticulous, there was not a single scratch or nick in the paint or a speck of dust anywhere in the place. It kind of operates like an Airbnb, there’s no one to check you in or check you out, everything is done electronically, which was fine with us. There is a share refrigerator and coffee maker in the small lobby, I thought it was perfect because I was in room three, which is right across the hall. The room was big and had a really great shower. The upstairs balcony was also really nice, there’s not much of a view, but there is a nice place to get outside. Given we were on the first floor I wasn’t sure what the noise level would be, but it was absolutely quiet all night long, I think there was four or five other guest staying that night. You can park right out front or you can use the parking lot provided. There looks to be four or five spots, but street parking is super easy too. There’s a great coffee shop across the street and about three blocks away as a whole cluster of bars and restaurants. I would say the neighborhood is transitional, but we felt completely safe being out and about even at night. I would totally stay here again, but, I noticed that the same group has two additional hotels nearby and I really want to try them too because we had such a great stay here. The room that we stayed in was for sure not ADA accessible and I’m not even sure that they advertise it that way. The only caution I would have for some guest if they need to use your electronics for your stay. My elderly parents are not smartphone users and this would totally not be something for them, but for 95% of the population, it certainly would be. My wife and I stay in lots of hotel rooms, this place is an absolute recommend,...

From the moment we pulled up, Cherry Warehouse Hotel captivated us, and our stay only got better from there. This isn't just a hotel; it's an experience, and it absolutely deserves every one of these five stars!
The design is truly what sets Cherry Warehouse apart. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The blend of industrial chic with warm, inviting touches creates an atmosphere that's both stylish and incredibly comfortable. Our room was a masterclass in design, boasting unique furniture, fantastic lighting, and an overall aesthetic that felt both luxurious and uniquely Kansas City. It was a joy just to spend time in the space.
Beyond the stunning visuals, the hospitality was second to none. Owners Ryan & David are genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They were knowledgeable about the area, offered fantastic recommendations, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. It's rare to find such a high level of personalized and attentive service.
And then there's the Courtyard – oh, the courtyard! It's a serene oasis, beautifully landscaped and the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink, the tranquil ambiance made it feel like a private retreat. It's an unexpected bonus that truly elevates the entire hotel experience.

Read moreDon't often book hotel rooms as I prefer Airbnb but this one really stood out as an amazing option on a short notice trip. The room I was in was incredibly clean, almost romantic in setting, and incredibly comfortable. Personalized touches from the owners made the stay much more appealing in atmosphere and vibrancy.
The easy access in and out of the hotel at any time was another great bonus. The location was almost perfect: a coffee cafe right across the street, several restaurants within walking distance, and a not so scenic but a great settled spot that offered a sense of safety and flexibility in driving anywhere locally.
My only complaint on this trip would be the parking availability but this is more of just a personal grief. You receive a notice about the limited availability and that additional parking is available streetside. The location and services provided otherwise, make up for more than enough.
Would definitely recommend this location with a romantic partner or a vacation trip to explore KC. Will definitely book here again...
