Johnston Field at Legacy Stadium — Attraction in Katy

This stadium is a boondoggle forced upon the people of Fort Bend county by the Katy ISD school board. It is the most expensive high school stadium in the state and is grossly under utilized. They spent $72 million for this place in a school district where every single elementary school has multiple rat infested, leaking, noisy and rotting porta-cabins for classrooms. They could have built as many as 4 brand new schools and eliminated a majority of the overcrowding, but football is king in Texas and so this place sits, soaking up money for maintenance and upkeep while thousands of children go to school each day in...

I want to my granddaughter's graduation. I am from Pennsylvania and we have very small classes she had almost 900 graduating in her class. The stadium hold 12,000 people. Very well presented,, it was very long. What can you expect with 900 kids. I never saw a graduation place that actually sold food, that was different. They had pre-recorded the valedictorian and all the speeches. It was very well run very efficient they had fireworks at the end. I have never been to a nicer run graduation. May 2024 - Cinco Ranch HS graduation, Katy Texas, was a great evening for over 700 graduates. It was well planned, organized, and executed.
