I placed my order with a young Hispanic woman at Subway. I was going to order four items, and I mentioned this at the beginning. However, as I started giving the second order, she immediately began preparing it without waiting. When I wanted to take a moment to look at the different types of chicken available, she abruptly stopped me, saying, "ok, ok," in a strange way. Eventually, she figured out what I wanted, but the attitude on her face throughout the interaction was really uncomfortable.
I reminded her that I still had other orders, and I noticed that she made the same unpleasant expression again. I asked her, "What's the problem? Why are you making faces like that?" At that point, an older Hispanic woman in the back, who was the friendliest among them, asked what was going on—likely in Spanish. However, the young woman didn’t react or change her attitude initially. She probably said, "No problem," or something along those lines because she eventually adjusted her behavior.
In the end, if this employee does not want to work at your establishment, I suggest you consider placing her in a different role, perhaps not in the...
Read moreI have been going to this location om and off for sometime. My daughter goes to KJH across the street and goes with friends as well. All in all, like other places have had their ups and downs. But it all boils down to the friendliness and wiliingness of the people to work with the public and management to be on site to make sure the employees have what they need. I am sick of how they run out of simple on the bar and wont replenish throughout the shift. I can understand at the end of the week right before a delivery, but NO. They have it in the back and are either too lazy or are supposedly instructed to see how long they can go without putting it out. Things like egg whites instead of regular egg, certain breads like the artisan flatbread. Please do a better job of this and care more for the customers who frequent your establishment. Just because you own the other locations close by doesnt mean I wont just stop coming or go to a competitior. I dont get why people dont try their best and cut so many corners? Dont they realize the big picture and know that it affects their bottom line in...
Read moreIts hit or miss here. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they aren't. The employees need to listen to the customer. If the customer says just a little, then just put a little. Onions - who in the world likes a full onion on their sandwich? I say a little onion and I get a handful that I have to pick off before I eat. Also I wish the employees didn't have the misconception about covid-19, that if they are vaccinated they can't transmit or catch it. One employee there doesn't wear a mask while making the sandwiches. Then talking to us a lot while making the sandwiches. Making his breathe and micro-spittle go all over our sandwiches. If 1 employee has to where masks, they all should. The store could also be a little cleaner.. windows should be cleaned more often. I have worked in the food industry before. And you would never find my food areas looking the way theirs does. The drink area always looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. You would think the place would look better being that they just redid the store with new...
