Tractor Supply Co. — Attraction in Katy

my wife and I go to tractors supply all the time, this one and one in Huntsville.I bought and paid for a refurbished air compressor ( here in katy) it was 130.00 they are 430.00 new. I told the girl at check out we were in our car so I would be back tomorrow to pick it up, she said no problem. we came back the next day and it was gone, they sold it, I don't know if someone took the sold sign off it and bought it or what, I talked to someone there they said "sorry" ill give your money back. I got nowhere with this person and they were closing, he said the manager would be in tomorrow. I came back today and was lucky to talk to a manager named Keith or heath, he came out from the back, with a smile on his face ( I knew that was a good sign) anyway I told him the story he listened to me not once interrupting me. he thought for a little and said you can have this new one " its the right thing to do" guys like him are getting hard to find, someone who takes responsibly for there mistake ( not his, the store)" he said this is the only fair thing to do" well I'm very happy, not just because I got a 430.00 air compressor for 130.00 but because he did the right thing, this is why I like to shop there. its the way ALL stores should treat people. little did he know how he treated me was going to determine if I ever come back... I went there today 8/5/17 and bought a bad boy rotary cutter for my tractor, I had Tod help me, he was SUPER NICE, I had my tractor with me he set up the cutter up on the tractor for me adjusted it, he went way out of his way to be helpful, don't believe all the hateful...

Terrible experience at this store. The young African American gentleman in the front was very sweet and the only good thing about this store. Caucasian lady (maybe a manager) told us multiple times when we asked they can assemble a chicken coop when delivered to the house. We asked not once but maybe 3 times. We purchased it the coop - over $600. Another Caucasian younger guy HAPPENS to walk by the counter and this lady asks him, “we assemble the chicken coops right?”. He said no, not at all. She literally lied to us to get us buy the chicken coop. I immediately asked for a refund and she acted annoyed instead. Literally wasted my time and gave wrong info! And didn’t bother to apologize. She needs training or should be let go immediately. Zero customer service skills whatsoever. Corporate needs to take action and I will be taking action with them immediately. Never going back to this location. Folks, take your business elsewhere. Staff is rude and lack knowledge and act like you’re at fault for...

This is the WORST customer service EVER. They are dishonest and lazy. We bought a generator from them on Thursday. Opened it today (Saturday) to find it missing half of the pieces, and it covered in spider's eggs, dirt, etc - it was obviously VERY used.

We called, and they basically told us it was our problem. They were out of that generator, they didn't have the parts, and we could call different stores to see if they had it and exchange it.

Sure. We'll waste our ENTIRE Saturday getting ready for a HURRICANE because you were dishonest and sold us something used without all the parts AND you refused to offer any help to solve the problem (like driving the TWO HOURS to get the nearest one).

After we wasted the time calling around (and found someone ELSE at ANOTHER store nice enough to look it up for us on their computer, which the Katy location could have done instead of making us call around), they refused to answer the phone.
