My wife and I bought our first home in New Jersey this year and almost immediately faced a serious problem with our chimney. We moved in during a heatwave, and the humidity created negative pressure that forced creosote-laden air from the chimney into our house. The scope of the first job was extensive: they plastered the chimney, applied a new cement crown collar and a stucco finish, and meticulously removed and cleaned flue tiles. They then installed a new liner for the fireplace, applied Chamber-Tech to the smoke chamber, and installed a new top damper. This plan was spot on and completely transformed our house. Within days, our air quality dramatically improved, the smell vanished, and we felt much safer knowing we have a clean, properly lined chimney.

During that first project, Angel and Erik discovered that our furnace's chimney flue was also cracked and needed to be re-lined. They were so thorough and transparent that we immediately trusted them with a second project. The second job involved fixing deteriorated mortar joints and bricks, installing a stainless steel liner from top to bottom of the heating flue, adding a new pipe connection from our boiler and water heater, and a round stainless steel cap on top.
