The Crepe Escape Kearny — Restaurant in Kearny

I’ve been to this place a few times when I first saw it on Google. It was very delicious and had continuously impressed me with their great variety of crepes. However, I was very disappointed when I came to the store yesterday at 9:31pm and the staff told me that they couldn’t make my friend and I crepes because they have already cleaned up the grill for the night. But Google says this place closes at 10pm?? I left yesterday very upset considering I’m not from the area and commuted 30 minutes to enjoy some of the place’s yummy crepes for dessert. I know that the store is relatively new as are the staff, but please fix this issue or the hours of operations so no one has to deal with this problem in the future.

EDIT: I’m glad I was able to go back and things were made right. I really appreciate the owners going out of their way to make sure I was happy after their service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that I had a fantastic experience.

But the real star of the show was the food. The crepes were simply delicious - perfectly cooked with just the right amount of filling. I tried both sweet and savory options, and each one was better than the last. The Nutella and strawberry crepe was definitely my favorite.

The menu was extensive, and there were plenty of options for everyone - whether you're looking for something sweet. Plus, the portions were very generous and I felt like I got a great value for my money.

The atmosphere at The Crepe Escape was also very charming and cozy. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some delicious food with friends or family.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at The Crepe Escape and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic crepes and excellent service. I will definitely be coming...

I heard a lot of buzz around this place (especially from Kearny Insider) and decided to check it out since I was nearby and it was empty.

I got a S’more crepe for myself, my friend got a Ferrero Rocher one and I got a Strawberry to go for my sister. All three were absolutely stunning and we loved them.The crepe itself was fresh and had a great texture. The toppings were not overly sweet everything felt very well balanced. Everything came out quickly and the prices are fantastic!

They also had a variety of ice creams, shakes, and treats. It’ll take you a couple of visits to try everything. Staff was super friendly and nice to chat with and the store looked great!

Kearny has had a lot of fad places that pop up and just as quickly go away but “The Crepe Escape” is not one of those places. They are serving a quality product and clearly take pride in their restaurant. I look forward to returning soon and hopefully for...
