This store continues to go down hill. Prices are ridiculous, store is dirty and always looks a mess. The new employees they are hiring are rude and think they are better than anyone else. They donāt even acknowledge you. Iāve seen them give customers dirty looks and over heard them making fun of people. This includes the assistant manager or whatever her title is. Sheās the worse and she is the one who hires these people that are just like her. There are a few employees that are still great people but Iām sure they wonāt last there having to work for and with people like this. This store has a huge turnover of employees. ( Iām not talking about Simone, I have spoken with her a few times and she is very helpful and pleasant)
I have shopped in this store for years and have spent a considerable amount of money there over the years. I spent over $60 the other day and was stopped as I was leaving the other day by one of ātheseā employees. She made a comment that she saw something in my purse and wanted to look inside. I told her that wasnāt going to happen and she told me I wasnāt allowed back in the store. Which is just fine with me. My purse is always closed because I have had something stolen out of my purse so there is no way she saw anything. This is an intimidation tactic these kinds of people use to make themselves feel like they are above everyone else.
Now I see why people have stopped going there and also leaving bad reviews. They have even extended the store hours to try and bring in more customers. Open your eyes and start with your employees. Get rid of the bad and hire people that actually care.
I only gave 1 star because you canāt post unless...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEmployees were fantastic, kind, and very friendly. The manager on the other hand is absoloutly terrible. An employee saw that I had a 7 week old puppy in the car after I was already inside shopping without him. He told me to bring the puppy inside since they were "dog friendly". The dog just needed to stay inside the cart. Mind you I had no problem leaving the puppy inside the car, nor did I ask to bring him in. While shopping, the manager very rudely told me I needed to leave the building because they have a strict dog policy. The employee approached the manager, trying to explain to her that he approved it and they have always allowed dogs inside. Manager cut him off by telling him, " I don't care". And me, that I needed to "get out". I asked if I could purchase the items in my cart and she continued yelling at the employee. Cool, I get it. You have the right to enforce a dog policy, but don't treat your employees like they are replaceable because they aren't. I then sent the thrift store a private message on Facebook to notify higher up management that it wasn't appropriate for her to act that way to employees and within minutes she blocked me from being able to message back. Will not return, and do not recommend. Prices would've been fantastic but I was asked to leave before making it to the register. This rating is 100% in response to how the manager acted to her employee. Not about their " strict...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved this business when it had it's grand opening! Huge variety & there was TONS of merchandise to fish through AND they had some crazy good deals. That being said; I no longer enjoy this store, nor will I be returning. Not only was I insulted- the variety has lessened, the quality of the merchandise has decreased, & don't let me forget to mention the Manager's non-existent tact! I had finished perusing (after having found a fairly nice pair of work shorts for my husband) so I folded my personal shopping bag and put it into my purse on my way up to the cashier (because I can carry one item) and I'm approached by the store manager. While she is reaching across me to touch the shorts that I have in my shopping cart, she asks if I need help and looks at my purse. I replied that I did not need help, I found shorts for my husband, and I opened my purse and pulled out my shopping bag. I said I didn't feel the need to use the bag for one item and then put it back into my purse. The audacity to approach a customer in a manner as if I've been shoplifting, without reason, is unethical as well as unprofessional. Not one smile or any welcoming vibes. Another lost customer due to management, or lack there of.
P.S. I did still purchase the shorts...and the cashier was great, very genuine...
