Disgusting situation and unethical response from management.
I have been a frequent shopper here but after my most recent experience I cannot bring myself to support it any longer.
I purchased a large dark colored plush area rug for $60. When I got it home I noticed that the underside was covered in urine stains and odor. I'm not talking just a spot or two - it had been soaked through multiple large areas and covered the majority of the surface. I called the store immediately and explained the situation and was told that management determined there was nothing they could do because "all sales are final." I am beyond disappointed that (a) they would sell an item in such unsanitary and unusable condition and (b) if that detail had somehow been overlooked by the staff as it was put out on the floor that they would not allow me to return it or at least receive a store credit toward something else. Charity or not, any business worth supporting would consider it reasonable to make an exception to the policy...
Read moreI stopped shopping here in 2018 because I saw an employee take a purse from a customer as she was checking out because she said it should be more expensive. It was smaller a brighton purse with some nail polish on the handle. The employee who I think was the manager found an attached key chain with a diamond ring and $75 inside the purse. The woman decided to not buy the purse and said she should try to find out who donated the purse because she was probably missing her wedding ring. The employee said no it was a donation and the lady walked out. I told the employee I wouldn't give my money to a business that had such disrespectful and dishonest practices going on and haven't...
Read moreUpdate: their response was for my initial post which makes it clear they are not Christian and bend to others idolatry. Don’t associate with following Christ if your actions prove other wise just say you’re a thrift store without a label then.
2nd post: their prices are so ridiculous honestly. I only stop in because Christ haven is in the same lot ( way better highly recommend) and do a quick walk through. It’s absolutely annoying that I’ve had too many issues where I try to buy stuff and it’s never for sale. Like the entire store is just display.
1st post :Super disappointed coming in today and their is Halloween stuff and demonic Halloween music playing but they call themselves a Christian store... I mean even the demons believe in God not everyone is actually a disciples of Jesus.
So easy to compromise but were called to be set apart and distinct,... You look just like the rest...
