Excellence in the arts at a beautiful venue! I'm so glad we made time and made it out in the bad weather for the final day of Tuck Everlasting. It was my first visit to the new venue, and I loved it. The acoustics were amazing! The space definitely rivals performing arts venues of major lities like Atlanta.
As for the show, rarely am I left speechless, but the entire production was simply breathtaking. The cast, the choreography, the orchestra, the direction, the talent - along with a beautiful love story - I'm so glad we made it out in the bad weather for this wonderful holiday treat! I laughed, I cried and felt every emotion between. I left feeling inspired - and wishing I had kept up my dance lessons! Well done JPAS!

Read moreNice place to watch a show but I absolutely would not recommend for a performer. I went in with my daughter and 10 costumes. Every costume was pulled out and searched, even pressing down on tutus to make sure nothing was hidden in them. Honestly, that really didn't bother me. But common sense exceptions should be made for performers. My daughter clearly had 10 costumes for 1 recital. With all of that dancing, the banana and pineapple was to prevent muscle cramps. Still, not allowed. However, there was an open bar. So, at any point I could have got any alcoholic beverage I wanted, but potassium to avoid muscle cramps was out of...
Read moreWe went on a Sunday afternoon for a showing of Dreamgirls. Parking was plenty. The show wasn’t full, but even with a full house, I can’t imagine having a problem parking. However, getting out of the parking lot after the show took some time.
The building is beautiful, clean, modern and very well designed. We chose balcony seating due to the price and figured we’d still be able to see the stage from the 2nd row. The view was okay, with minimal interference from the person’s head in front of me. The audio was terrible. No one could understand what they were saying when the orchestra was playing. The music was so loud and the actors really low. It sucked, because I feel like it ruined what could have been a good show. Due to that reason, I’m uncertain whether I would attend another...
