KASED'S INTERNATIONAL HALAL MARKET KENNER — Attraction in Kenner

I'm a big fan of this store they have a huge selection and a wide variety of new things to try from veggies and produce to candy and snacks. They also sell meat I purchased pre-made kofta which is seasoned and ready for my barbecue pit. It's a mixture of beef and lamb you can make kabobs out of it or have them on pita bread or nan with tiki sauce and hummus you could watch a YouTube video for a fast recipe that's what we did and it was extremely delicious full of flavor fresh and completely different from our normal dinner experience. I also go there for a sweet treat called halva made from sesame seeds and sugar some varieties come with cocoa or pistachio and the drink selection is crazy you will not know what to try first. I highly recommend visiting this location the owner and all the staff were extremely welcoming and happy to answer any questions and help in any way they can. Not to mention how convenient the location is right off Williams before the treasure...

My daughter and I went there and we got some Samosas. Let me tell you, the store and people there are such a blessing. I made my green chutney sauce from scratch and let me tell you. Fresh mint, parsley, and cilantro. Healthy stems. Peppers. Chef’s kiss. My daughters love the varieties and cultures she can experience. I love it because it’s much healthier than regular stores. They serve clean meat which is good for my entire family. Thank you for your kindness and for making us feel at home. I told her we could try a different chocolate bar when we go. Christmas day, the only lamb to be found in the major supermarkets was imported from Australia. Not that Australian lamb is bad, but I want American lamb. Where can you get it?
