My cargo was sent to STG Logistics via Sea Freight and I've had nothing but problems with them. After my shipment was cleared from customs, I had asked them to set up delivery to my warehouse. They had quoted me at $254.39 for normal freight and then a larger quote ($800-900) for a 2-3 day shipment.
This shipment was not on track or on time, and had many problems including: --STG did not deliver the BOL on time. This caused delays to the truck waiting at customs for pickup. --The shipment was temporarily lost by MTG (the trucking company that the pallet passed to for the final destination). I was not notified and had to repeatedly follow up with Peninsula, STG, and MTG myself to relocate the shipment. --The quoted delivery timeframe was 2-3 days (pickup ETA June 28th). Instead it took over a week and a half to arrive (July 7th). --They then sent me an invoice for $1007.34 with NO explanation as to why the final invoice was so exorbitantly high and way outside the quote range (for either normal freight or expedited). --I have followed up SEVEN TIMES to ask about the quote and explain the high fee with NO response from anyone. I have an email tracker, so I can see that they've read my emails and ignored them. No follow up with calls either.
I did not want to leave a review (because I'm not usually one to complain), but feel like this is the only way I'll get an answer. Can you please explain why this invoice is over the quoted amount to take one pallet a short distance (WA to MT), especially given the many problems and delayed timeframes that already cost my business money?
I recommend avoiding this logistics company unless you want unexpected fees, late shipments, and no care toward...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSTG Logistics is an absolute disaster of a company, and their incompetence has caused immeasurable frustration and distress for countless customers, including my dad. From the very start, their customer service is a nightmare. Calls, emails, and messages are routinely ignored, and when contact is finally made, the information provided is inconsistent and often completely wrong.
One of the most frustrating aspects of this experience has been dealing with Ashleigh Preston. Not only is she consistently rude and unprofessional, but itās clear she has no idea how to do her job. Her dismissive attitude and complete lack of accountability only made a bad situation worse. She should not be in a customer-facing role, as she clearly cannot handle basic customer service responsibilities.
Whatās most upsetting is the lasting impact this company has on peopleās lives. Customers lose valuable time and money, and the stress of dealing with STGās incompetence takes a major toll. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers is staggering. Anyone who values their time, finances, or peace of mind should avoid STG Logistics at all costs. This company has repeatedly shown it cannot be trusted, and their careless approach is...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethis sorry and pathetic excuse of a company is a complete and utter joke. they lack in integrity and professionalism and have no clue as to what their own policies and procedures are. my dad (who has been a truck driver for 9 years in the past) was told IN WRITING that if he were to purchase a truck, he would be GUARANTEED employment. after having done soāat THEIR requestāhe was denied as he has not driven in the last 5 years. did this policy come out of thin air BECAUSE WHY ON EARTH would you not have said that before TELLING him to buy a whole truck?!
shoutout to Ashleigh Preston for this early xmas gift. not only is she incompetent and completely reckless at her job, she was rude and disrespectful when speaking on the phone after the fact. complete trash for playing such a cruel joke on someone who is already working so incredibly hard to make ends meetālike purchasing a truck is so simple and easy. had they just simply said no to begin with, everything could have been avoided. no ethics whatsoever, an...
