I think the lady is in management but sure shouldn't be anywhere near any position dealing w the public she's disgustingly rude and lacks any form of professionalism. We were waiting for choice to book the room for another night with our points dealing with choice of jail and booking with points that they owe you because they messed it up he's like pulling your own teeth with an eyelash curler it's very slow and painful and I'm pretty sure the front desk knows that so basically she wanted to take us out of the room and make us wait outside or I guess on the curb I'm not sure if she never had an answer for that and then she would let us book again if we came back and paid I wouldn't stay at the hotel again if she paid me to stay there she was disgusting her attitude was disgusting. In the end choice got our points corrected we decided to go to The sleep inn at SeaTac which was only 8,000 instead of 20,000 points and the hotel was 20,000 times nicer than the comfort inn and the staff was absolutely incredible we stayed there for another week it was business that comfort would have had if they had any kind of professional manager instead instead of sleeping got that weekend paid stays to put in their coffers and we will never again extend the dime to the comfort inn in Kent save yourself the headache don't even sleep in they'll give you a sweet it's incredible they're very nice super clean but I can't say enough about the staff with the same breakfast that's covered in however they have a few extra choices that comfort...
Read moreFirst off, all we encountered was very friendly and professional. Room was quiet, bed comfortable, pool nice. When I booked the room I indicated the # of people staying. Notwithstanding, there wasn't any bedding provided, nor enough towels for 4 people. Room smelled like a cleaning solution was trying to hide smoke smells. Toilet lid wouldn’t stay up. Iron bolted to the ironing table = very inconvenient, difficult to use. THE HALLS: Carpets quite dirty/worn. HOUSEKEEPING: Left room mid-morning and on return 6 hours later, it still hadn't been cleaned. The front desk asked if we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign up -- I replied that we did during the night, but removed it when we left. I said at this point we just wanted fresh towels and they said they would send someone right away. After a few minutes, I peeked out, saw a housekeeper and asked her for towels. She said that ours wasn't her room, but gave us a few anyway. They had letters on them -- seemed like cleaning towels. No one came ever came by. THE POOL: A sign says "leave pool towels here". Do they expect guests to walk back all cold, wet, without any towels? BREAKFAST: Room way too small to accommodate # of guests. Read moreI understand small kids can be a bit restless. I stayed here because of the reviews— and the fitness room. I got to the property at 8:30pm. The check in was brief, and felt impersonal. After laying down around 10 (I had a meeting the next morning), I was woken up just before 2am by someone running loudly back and forth above me. After giving it some time, I called the desk to see if they can give the tired parents a gentle reminder of quiet hours. The running & stomping only got louder. I called a second time— they got even louder. So, instead of calling a 3rd time, I turned the fan to “constant” & tried to drown it out with white noise. I ended up laying there crying with a pillow over my head until 6am— Somehow these kids were STILL running back and forth, so I called again. At this point, I was so frustrated and overstimulated by the constant thump thump thump thump thump above me, I just wanted it to stop— not so I could sleep any more, but because it was driving me insane. I was hoping there may be a different person on shift by that time who would actually talk to this other guest, but I was given the same “I’ll talk to them”, and they got louder and more intentional. If you are a business traveler, Diamond platinum or gold status with the Choice brand, this Hotel will not perform to the most basic expectations...
