Builders Supply — Attraction in Kermit

I wish I could put negative stars on here. I went there and bought one of their products and it failed and ended up in my drain to where I couldn't get it. I went back to the manager and she said its not her problem talk to the manufacturer. So trying to fix the problem I bought a snake to retrieve the failed product and it was so cheap that I had trouble getting it to go farther than 15 ft down my drain and it wouldn't even spin. And as a last resort I bought another balloon and the lady up front said I could return it as long as I had my receipt and it wasn't damaged and even though the package said it was for 4 inch pvc/drain line, it didn't fit or work. So I tried to bring it back to get my money back and surprise surprise I talked again to the manager and again it wasn't her problem I needed to contact the manufacturer. Without a doubt one of the most poorly managed stores I've ever dealt with in my life. The employees who work within the store want to help but often times their hands are tied by upper management who will not allow them to source much needed items for local businesses who must then travel repeatedly month after month over and over again to buy from competitors in odessa or midland rather than stock items that can easily be stocked within their store. Confusion of minimums on orders is baffling even to suppliers it seems and has left me to seek to do business elsewhere on many items. I only hope that someone is able to right this ship before it's too late and kermit is left with nothing more than tractor supply or the ace hardware store in monahans, it honestly just pains me to see such a good group of employees be wasted by such piss...

I have spent the last five months in Kermit, TX. I’m willing to bet that I’ve spent over $1,500 in this store. They see my wife and I several times a week. Two weeks ago I special ordered an item. I received the email stating it was ready for pickup. It took them six days to find my order. You can’t ever find anyone to help you. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back! I bought a set of metal brackets. Made it to my camper and discovered they were too big. I went back to exchange them. I was asked for the receipt. I left it at the camper. I offered to show them the receipt through my Ace Rewards App. I was told no. They had to have the receipt. Okay! Fine! We will NEVER shop here again!
