Stayed at the Penthouse. Absolutely beautiful views from the top. Large comfy king bed on the second floor. Very spacious living area and a small kitchen area. Water pressure in the showers could be better. The room could do with some touch-ups from maintenance regarding paint work on the banisters and trim. I have stayed at many top luxury hotels, and my experience here was good overall but expected more from the Ritz. Check-in and out were fast. Staff are very polite and courteous. The family pool area can be a little cramped with loungers placed directly next to each other closely. They should really be separated by a table to put your pool essentials on and drinks. The poolside staff are quick and provided excellent service. As expected, cold water was brought to you frequently. The towel station provided sunblock and aloe to take and use as needed. I was there for an outdoor wedding on the grand lawn. Being Miami, it was too hot, perhaps having some fans circulate air would have been nice. Read moreVery disappointing spa visit. The facilities are in real need of a remodel. It looks like this might have been a great spa at one point, not anymore. You don’t get the feeling of a luxury spa experience you expect from the Ritz Carlton. To be fair, I was satisfied with my massage treatment and the attentions received by the attendants. However, lacking in all the rest. Very unpleasant to find used round brushes offered next to broken hair dryers. No disposable brushes available, no working lotion pump. Overall, the amenities could improve. It was extremely shocking to find out we could not use the pool as we were only spa guests and not hotel guests. Very disappointing as that has not been my experience while visiting other Ritz Carlton Spas. In summary, the price we paid for a massage was not justified given the lack of amenities and facilities available for our use. We could get the same kind of massage at our neighborhood massage establishment...
Read moreI love massages and I dont mind spending on them. I've enjoyed massages in many parts of the world... it is one if the activities I always do traveling. I can definitely say the deep massage here is NOT WORTH the money... I would pay 100usd MAYBE for the experience... but I'm being extremely nice.... the masseuse didnt know much about the muscles in the body.... I didnt feel any difference after the massage... I can say the bed is great.... but really not worth it... save your money and go to a nearby spa which I'm sure at least the price could match the experience..... really really disappointed. I even doubt the reviews are real.... since I can compare to more than 25 different massage places...
