I never write reviews, but I had to. Ive been a boater my whole life. We recently this past Saturday went on the Dolphin Sunset Cruise with your company. It was pretty windy out and my wife was already pretty nervous so we got to the boat early just to see. I sat and watched our captain back into this incredibly tight spot backwards, while getting blown sideways by the wind. More impressive was he was not even fazed by this, he came in super fast, engines roaring, sliding with the wind, Ive never seen anything like it. The captain got off the boat waved at everyone and said we would be ready to go in about 15 minutes. What.
So we all load up, the captain gives a speech about safety, cracks a few jokes then squeezes out of that crazy spot again. We sail around for about an hour then seemingly out of nowhere there are all these dolphins next to the boat. We loved seeing all of the dolphins. Then we go back toward where we started, just before sunset the captain turns the boat toward the sun going down and we have an amazing sunset.
So then this drunk foreign guy goes to the back of the boat and starts messing with a hose or something. The captain politely asked him to move forward, then had to progressively almost start yelling. The passenger goes and just tosses this hose in the water and it wraps up on the steering and the propeller. The drunk guy was mad he had to listen or something and the captain looked pretty mad but stayed really calm. His helper tried to free the hose but it didn't look like it was going well. We overheard the captain tell his helper he had no steering or that engine.
This is why I am writing. The captain pulls up like 4 foot of sail, makes a few adjustments, turns off the one engine, messes with the other engine throttle a bit and goes ok. OK. OK What. I mean I was just being nosey trying to listen to what was going on but, did he just say he only had one engine and no steering? So there is like every boat in key west it seems going back to the dock at the same time. The captain says something on the radio then heads for a dock, spins the boat around then parks between this big yacht and some coastguard boat. I was watching closely he never touched the wheel, and he just used one throttle and pushed the sail above his head around some. I don't think there was more than 5 ft in any direction as he spun and docked. We get to the dock, the helper is tying off the boat, he smiles, says welcome back to key west and gives a little speech. Completely unfazed.
The most amazing boat handling I have ever seen. My wife says an amazing...
Read more💯% Blast! I and my friend had so much fun on the 6 hour adventure it was crazy! The hosts and the boat was on point. We did some jet skiing, snorkeling, hell we did it all. It was most definitely worth the money. My friend almost drowned a bit, and when I say that they were on it. One of the workers went immediately to get her, it was the handsome blond. He earned the name BAY WATCH! We called him bay watch so much I forgot his real name. Really cool guy, down to earth and very nice. He made our experience an unforgettable one. My friend kinda messed up on the jet skis and was banned, well he came and actually took her for a ride on them along with him. That was awesome. For the men, there was some real eye candy on there as well. There was a beautiful sexy blond chick helping run the adventure with a banging bod! 👌🏽It was almost hard for me to keep my eyes off. The caption was awesome. That man can drive a boat with his foot. 🤣🤣🤣 no seriously, real talent. He was also a good guy. Pretty quiet but good man there. The music was on point! Jam after jam after jam. I and my friend could barely sit down because of it. And the food..... Ot was also good as well. We had some of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. Don't worry for those who doesn't eat meat, because they had enough of no meat items as well for you to chose from. We had a small breakfast as well. So yes they fed us twice. After all the excitement activities and adventure, it was time for the boose. 👌🏽🤣🤣 They served wine beer and smiles for the rest of the after/evening. I did not want it to end. But before I knew it, we were back at docking point. I say suck that 7 hours up. Because time literally does fly when your having fun. Thank you so much to ALL OF THE HOST @ Sebago watersports especially BAY WATCH! . It was a blast and I can say, that I will see you next year for sure! Thanks again for an amazing experience! 👏🏽🫶🏽💯👌🏽❤️🏝🏖🏝🏝👍🏽 If you are reading this and wondering, ITS A MUST GO! Big props to keegan on the photos....
Read moreMy husband and I had a wonderful time during the full day Island Ting with Sebago Watersports. We hopped onboard the Flyer Catamaran. They served a continental breakfast (blueberry/cranberry muffins, egg quiche) while en route to a mangrove island for kayaking. Once back on board, they serve lunch (pasta salad, coke slaw, BBQ sandwiches, shrimp cocktail). They had plenty of food and people could get seconds if desired. They also had plenty of clean drinking water to refill our water bottles throughout the day. They offered free beer and sangria. There may have been other alcoholic beverages, but I’m not sure since I don’t drink alcohol. After lunch, we arrived at a coral reef for snorkeling. Unfortunately, hurricane Idalia had passed by two days prior so there was poor visibility for snorkeling. However, they still gave us the safety briefing and snorkeling gear to give it a try. They also let us hang out in the water and threw out a Lilly pad for lounging. For snorkeling, you should know how to swim at least a little bit but they do offer pool noodles to help with buoyancy if needed. (You also wear a Coast Guard mandatory buoyancy device that is not inflated unless you’re actually in an emergency). They provided all equipment for kayaking and snorkeling. You’ll enjoy it whether it’s your first time or 100th time partaking in these activities. They will show you what to do if needed. On the way back to the marina, we got to see some dolphins. The captain intentionally drove by the channel where he expected them to be after the storm and we got to see two sets of dolphins! On our way off the boat, they served the most delicious chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever eaten! Our crew was captain Brandon and the crew members were Ava and Kat. They were amazing and very kind. If you’re looking for some fun in the sun with some activities but also pretty chill day, book the Island Ting with Sebago Watersports! We were out there...
