Let me start by saying that I had a good time for the most part. The activities that did not require staff assistance were fun, the atmosphere overall was nice, and it was a fun day overall. That being said, the staff was unprofessional, not attentive, and the trip was unorganized.
After about 20 min of paperwork, I was finally able to get certified to drive and rent the jet skis. Our family of 5 drivers and 1 passenger signed up for our own block since there were only 5 jet skis to drive. After waiting for 20 minutes longer than they said, our time came around and they added another group of 4 to us (who, mind you, didn't have to wait) and we all had to double up. The group before us AND after us were much smaller and got to ride as individuals.
When lunch time came around, food was placed out while some were away on jet skis and parasailing. When they returned, there was no food left. They asked the staff when there would be more food and their response was that they weren't "ainticipating the boat to be so hungry." I never saw them bring more food out, and I'm not sure if they got to eat.
Staff overall were unattentive and unorganized. The captain himself was in swim trunks with a water gun, swimming and shooting people with the water gun instead of helping people or serving them at the backed up bar.
The photos were an absolute joke. They tried to charge us $95 for our families photos because it was "$15 a person." Then when we denied it, they lowered it to $60. We saw the charts and noticed that other families paid only $40. They need one consistent rate.
As stated, the activities that didn't involve staff were lots of fun, and one particular staff member was very nice and courteous and took us out for kneeboarding and skiing. However he was also much older than the rest of the crew which were teens and in their 20's. The rest were just trying to party during their summer, not work.
Overall, organization and professionalism are severely lacking. If you like to do things on your own, this trip would be fun. But if you want to do the jet ski or parasail or anything along those lines, take a...
Read moreDon't book your wedding with them!!! They were so nonchalant about a day that was suppose to be SO special to us. They told us on the day of the wedding that they were not going to take the boat out and still charged us for fuel. They didn't even offer to change the date or offer a refund prior to the day of, knowing that a hurricane/tropical storm was passing through. We had to request one. We paid $10,000 and the refund was around $1200. It also rained so we couldn't start the ceremony on time, plus we weren't allowed to use the top deck because of the upper deck being wet. The food was good or whatever, but the DJ was horrible. The third party vendors were unprofessional. Our wedding was supposed to start at 6pm and they agreed to be ready to disinfect and decorate the boat by 4:30pm. They started at around 5:30pm. They also threw away the food that we paid for, threw away our tablecloths that we purchased, and shared out our wedding cake without our permission. GUYS - I HAD TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE WITH NO MUSIC. I PAID FOR A DJ. My husband and I had to make so many last minute decisions on our own and it was SO stressful. I had high hopes for this company, but they let us down BIG time. The only star that I'm giving them is...
Read moreWent on this cruise last week with my older brother. The Bartender was great! The Captain was friendly and took us on a decent cruise. The music was fun. However the flyer we got claimed that it was a seafood buffet...it was not. It reminded me of cafeteria food. There was a small dining area downstairs where the buffet was located. We had to eat in shifts, which was fine, but when we got down to the dining room it was sweltering hot & stuffy!!! They had 4 small AC units on the walls that were definitely NOT keeping up! There were no tables or chairs outside to use unless you were one of the lucky 6 people that could sit at the bar. So we ate about 1/2 of our food and got the heck out of the dining room before I passed out. The sweltering dining room was not just a problem for our cruise...it appears from what I've read on other sites, the AC in the dining room has been a problem since 2010 (see Trip Advisor). That's unacceptable in my opinion. Take some of the money you're making and spend it on making your clients halfway comfortable and don't advertise that you serve a seafood buffet. I myself would not recommend this diner cruise unless they fix the AC and upgrade their...
