Would give zero stars if possible. Stood in line at registers, and was ignored by both workers who were standing there facing us. Assuming they were somehow doing something, we walked away. Walking back up, we now stood behind someone else who was getting helped. A young woman worker with black hair, who was checking out someone, asked in the middle of their transaction if we had any questions. It was a little weird, considering we were in line to check out. And she said this to literally no one else in line behind us, or the guy getting checked out. Everything is locked up, so it’s obvious we were trying to purchase something. It’s our turn now, and instead of remaining at the register, she asked her busy coworker to check us out instead and stop what he was doing. We said we wanted to purchase a specific controller, and he asked his coworker if we had that specific color. She was just standing there at the time doing nothing. She seemed visibly irritated by this, but trust me I would’ve gotten myself. But again, everything is locked up. She just told him to basically figure it out himself, to go look on the wall, despite her doing nothing. We had done literally nothing to this employee, and we actually pride ourselves on bending over backwards for customer service employees as we both are. After the male worker returned from the wall, retrieving the controller we wanted, she went to help the guy behind us in line. She sounded completely different. Speaking to us, it sounded like she wanted us to die. Seriously, she had an attitude for no reason. To the guy, she literally up pitched her voice and showed him around to different products. I wanted to shrug this off, because gamestops are usually great environments. But like what was that? It definitely felt like there’s some weird hidden motives. She was rude af to her coworker, and to us. It felt like it was because we are girls and it’s even weirder that she is too, and acted like that. Worst GameStop I’ve ever been in. Guy worker was...
Read moreThis location can be found as soon as you enter cove coming from killeen. To be stated I hate the spacing in all parking lots and this lot isn't any different. There never is enough room to open your car door without have to be wary of hitting the car next to me. There was half off all clearance items. That got me to look around the whole store. I haven't been in a game stop in years and found that there had been some more pop culture additions. Such as clothing toys and plushes. I found a few of the transformers I had been looking for. At a discount price at that. I was also convinced into joining their rewards program for $15. I got $10 back qnd a $5 gift certificate to spend the next day. Wasn't too interested but did anyway and I get a $5coupon at no cost every month. So, overall great visit and I have been back....
Read moreI Reserved a game and I went to go pick it up, usually I order on amazon but I want to support GameStop anyways so I was with the cashier he noticed my rewards program was expired I told him it’s fine I don’t want to renew I’m just here to pick up my game And go since I’m in a rush, and then he goes on by saying “do you not like saving money?” and I told him I really don’t want to, and then he goes “you can get more discount if you do.“ Now I know it’s there job to do so but I understand why people order online instead of the store at game stop they constantly push you to buy/renew their items when you already have declined, (“Wasting time having to tell them I don’t want it” ) I love game stop always had but there too pushy and they need to change that it makes me not want...
