A high quality, high value, modern Austin-based all you can eat sushi restaurant with excellent vibes and tremendous eats. Centered near buffet alley in Killeen, this newcomer presents tons of value and fresh taste to a scene lacking high caliber sushi restaurants.
The menu is vast with your pick of several appetizers and entrees. The sushi is fresh, not fishy at all, and well portioned. There is no skimping on the sashimi or sushi fish portions that typically occur at sushi buffets. While I had no issues, the staff are willing to remake or reorder anything. It is an all you can eat after all. I highly recommend the salmon, pepper tuna tataki, smoked beef tataki, and crab salad. Overall, very extensive variety and flavor.
The atmosphere is spectacular for two reasons, the decor and the birthdays. The room is darkly intimate uplifted by earthy neutral tones and highlighted by bright flags, signs, and lights. If you have a birthday, the staff all come with boombox and neon lights in hand to sing you a very happy birthday. You also get to hit a gong for your special treat! They also host unique events including unlimited blue fin tuna (for a fee) and prize nights frequently.
My value tip is to order sashimi to avoid the rice, and avoid too many rolls. The price for lunch and dinner are justified per the menu as you cannot find anything cheaper in the Austin, Dallas, Houston area for a similar quality. They only have buffet for now, no ala carte options. Truly a fantastic addition to Bell County and likely to be the BEST sushi in the area for years to come.

If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot that delivers on quality, service, and atmosphere — look no further than Macha Sushi. We've been here three times in the last three weeks, and every visit has been top-tier, but tonight's experience for our birthday celebration/ farewell truly blew us away.
From the start, Megan, the general manager, was incredible to work with. Planning a party for 20 people can be stressful, but Megan made it effortless. She helped us reserve their private room, went out of her way to decorate it with balloons, and even had cookies waiting for us. As if that wasn’t thoughtful enough, she introduced us to their professional photographer who captured beautiful moments from our celebration — what a personal touch!
Our servers — Mike, Emmanuel (Em), Kobe (shoutout to Guam — Hafa Adai!), and the rest of the Machi crew — were absolutely amazing. Handling a large party is no easy feat, but they were patient, quick, attentive, and so friendly. Every single order came out fast and perfect. Their energy made the evening even more enjoyable.
The food? Outstanding. From fresh sashimi to crispy shrimp tempura and flavorful fried rice, there was something for everyone — even the picky eaters in our group went back for seconds (and thirds!).
This place isn't just a sushi restaurant — it’s a place where hospitality and great food come together. Huge thanks again to Megan and the whole Machi team for going above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back again- and again!
Thank you! Si Yu'us Ma'ase! ( Chamorro) Doomo Arrigato!...
Read moreThe atmosphere is awesome. It reminded us of a cool after hours place. They really put effort in the decor. We loved the thought of all you can eat so we came here to try it. You will not get far with the regular rolls that have rice so we only tried a couple. The sashimi was good at first but it got fishier and fishier as we sat there. The soy sauce is off and makes you extremely thirsty filling your stomach up with liquids. I’d honestly bring my own if I ever went back. We ordered a lot of sashimi and half the time they would forget something. The squid was absolutely horrendous. It was coated in this thick grease I’ve never tasted before. The snapper tasted like what a dirty lake smells like. It got to a point where we were only ordering salmon and tuna. After we left and got home we could still smell the fish on us. Our bill came out to $96 with 2 adult drinks and all you can eat for 2. We could have gotten better quality food for that price at little Tokyo. It was a fun experience but the quality of the fish was concerning. The servers were very nice and checked on us a million times. Maybe too much but they were just making sure we enjoyed it. Their room in the front also puts off a ton of heat from the glass and we were sweating non stop. It didn’t feel like they had any AC on. We may come back once they have a bit more time to work...
