We stayed at this hotel for four nights while visiting my son and his family. First off we didn't arrive until after 9pm due to weather. We were greeted very well at check-in. We had reserved a wheelchair accessible room and was told it had a transfer bench for the tub/shower when we made our
reservations. Once we made it to the room we noticed it did not have a xfer bench. Proceeded to go down to front desk and request one. The young lady working the counter didn't know exactly what we needed until I showed her a picture online. She looked everywhere for one. After about 20 minutes and couldn't find one asked if we could wait till morning for her to ask housekeeping and her manager about obtaining one for us. By 7:45 the next morning they
had located one and had it up to the room for us.
The beds were comfortable. A little firmer than what we prefer but then again no bed ever feels as good as your own. I liked that they had 4 pillows on each bed. 2 firm and 2 soft. I always bring my own pillows with me because I like a firm pillow and I like a lot of pillows. Could of left mine at home and saved some room in the car.
Every interaction with any of the staff the entire stay was exceptional! They always greeted us with a smile and a hello even in passing. Always made sure to ask if we needed anything or if there was something they could do for us. Quite a pleasant change.
The room was large enough to be comfortable and feel like someplace more than just to sleep and change your clothes. It also had a microwave and mini fridge in it. The shelves were missing from the fridge but wasn't an issue for us as we only kept a couple sodas and some juice in it.
The room was cleaned daily very well. Fresh towels and wash cloths daily. The only thing I noticed about the cleaning was there was a slight mildew smell in the bathroom which I would assume came from wet towels always being on the tile floor. But I also have a sensitive nose to mildew/mold smells. It wasn't strong but just enough to know it was there. The free breakfast had a great selection. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and/or sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereals, fruit, bagels toast and muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, juice coffee and milk and some things I'm sure I'm forgetting. The breakfast seating area was always clean and neat.
The parking was good. Very well lit at night. Plenty of handicapped parking. Never felt uneasy when coming back late or going out for a smoke before bed.
Location was good. Being within walking distance to the grocery store and the Walgreens and CVS was nice. Plenty of restaurants nearby within a five min drive.
Overall had a great time visiting family and staying here was a great choice. Would definately recommend to anyone planning on staying in the area and will most definately be staying here next...

Read moreUnfortunately there is no negative starts to give to the room rating, otherwise I would do so. I rented the meeting room for july 6 for a seminar and an attendance of 22 people due to what was advertise online in their website. The room was advertise in their website as a bright airy room with the following perks included in the website :
Number of Meeting Rooms: 1 Total Area of Meeting Space: 569 sq ft Number of Sales and Meeting Professionals On-Site: 2 Largest Room Measurement: 550 SQ FEET Smallest Room Measurement: 550 SQ FEET Equipment Flip Chart and Markers Pens, Pencils and Pads Provided Digital Projector DVD Player LCD Projector.
Absolutely nothing of which was provided.
The AC did not work at all ! The night before (7/5) we went in the room the room was at 78 and no air flow. We put the thermostat at 65 and nothing. In the morning it was at 77 which throughout the day went to 80 degrees with the sun beaming in that room and no blinds or shades to help out. No projector, no TV, no DVD, nothing provided. An icing on top, the internet did not work at all. I asked front desk for help and was told to contact technical support to help me during my event with the internet. They did not have enough tables to fit more than 15 people. Only 3 6 x 2 tables were offered. The other tables were broken. My guest were all sweaty and uncomfortable. We could not present our presentations as planned due to the poor internet signal in that room. The carpet was stained with bleach spots everywhere. Very deceiving advertising.
The 304 room was hot as well not cooling at all.
They stated in their website that they had two meeting professionals onsite, but I was never contacted back from the online meeting quote request nor the meeting sales person phone number was never answered and voicemail was full.
Shannon at the front desk was very kind and tried to help at least with a portable fan.
I would never rent this place again and would not recommend it to anyone who strives to provide a top notch seminar to rent this place.
Even one of the room service ladies told me " they shouldn't have rented you that room, that room has been giving problems for a while".
Down below is what they advertise, is not like that at all. Those are not tables as they are all broken. just lawn...
