Joy Performance Center — Attraction in Kings Mountain

What a disappointment. Took a friend with me who never gets out, and we were both rather disappointed. Chose a seat at the very front with handicap accessibility for her wheelchair. Neither one of us can hear very well either, and they put us on the very back row on the end. The Joy is owned by the local community theatre group. It is an old movie theater rennovated to be used as a stage theatre. Quality performances grace the stage 4 times a year. The group has kept as much of the old fixtures and orginal materials as possible...very nostalgic and charming!
