Sub Factory — Restaurant in Kings Mountain

Extremely slow service anytime of the day. Even if it’s just you in the store, they will take at least 15 minutes on an order. Forget trying to go here if there is more than two people ordering. They can’t seem to have a streamlined approach to making the sandwiches. Everything takes a long time and is inconsistent. I started going there regularly for a while. They even were trying to figure out my order before I walked up, but the passed 5 times I’ve tried to stop by, the wait was far too long for me to be willing to stay for a simple sandwich. I could be going to a sit down restaurant for the same amount of money and time spent there. The decor is peculiar. The shop is situated within a church; you can see the sanctuary when you walk in. The walls are covered, from top to bottom, with pin up girls. The closer you got to the sanctuary the more lude the art work is. Could they be bothered with putting up at least a curtain? I guess not. The customer service is alright. They are nice, but get frustrated easily when there is more than one sandwich order and you can hear and feel it. The sandwiches are made inconsistently. Sometimes I get some cheese sometimes there is none. Sometimes I get barley any meat to the point that I have to go somewhere else to buy more food or they fill it to the brim; there is no in between.

Good place for a quick bite. Sandwiches are ok. I had tuna salad sandwich. Tuna had an ok flavor and came with the normal stuff (lettuce, tomato and onions. There are other add-on options. They do have a good variety of sandwiches. They cut my sandwich in four pieces which made it kind of messy to eat being tuna.

The place lacks personality. It does have some kind of decor with a wall of pictures from way back and another wall of old brand name calendars. The room is so big that it feels awkward. There is an area in the back for events which makes the room even bigger.

I cannot judge the other sandwiches, but mine was ok. Not sure if I would go...

Have been coming here for YEARS without a problem but today was different. I had been calling for over 20 minutes to place a call in order and no one answered the phone (kept going to voicemail) so I drove from Gastonia to restaurant and asked the girl that took my order (dark brown hair) if they took call in orders anymore that I had been calling and no one answered the phone. Well that must of made her mad or she was having a bad day because she was EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME. If the people that work there can’t handle answering customers questions then they don’t need to be working...
