The WORST customer service I have ever dealt with which caused an AWFUL experience. Would give ZERO stars if possible. We came into the restaurant around 2:15 on Saturday January 5th. Our server, Shauna, was great. However, after ordering and receiving our food I started eating my burger and fries. Everything tasted normal until I ate one of the fries. The second I placed the fry in my mouth and began to chew, it immediately tasted like poop. I quickly spit out the food and told our server using a quite and calm voice so other customers would not hear. We then gave them the fry because we did not want to smell it any longer as it was lingering around the table and wanted to notify the staff. During this time, my mother and I went to the bathroom and began to vomit as the smell was that bad. When our server came back, she apologized, and the manager quickly came as well. The manager was extremely rude, told us we were lying, the fries were fine, and accused us of simply wanting a free lunch and harassing his staff. After asking him if he had the opportunity to smell the fry or investigate, he claimed he threw the fry away, but ate other fries in the kitchen and they were fine. (Why would you not examine the fry the customer had a complaint about?) We then carefully explained that we did not want a free lunch but just that the fry’s smell (and taste) lingered around the table and would like to understand what had happened due to the fact that it caused two of the four of our party members to become sick immediately. He demanded us to leave, accused us of saying things we never said, and told us we were extremely rude to our server (not true at all.) After kicking us out, our server Shauna was appalled. She apologized several times and didn’t think we caused any harassment or any of the other several lies he claimed we said. After researching, rotten potatoes do cause a taste and smell extremely comparable to poop. Not only will we never return but we will plan on contacting the health department as well. Listen to your customers. Really listen. Hopefully this does not occur to...
Read moreWe came here for Mother’s Day and we knew it was going to be busy. We arrive at 7 when they close at 9 and have a 10 top. We knew it may take a minute but we ended up not being seated until 8:15 while half the restaurant was empty. Our service was down right horrible we kindly told our waitress at the beginning we were splitting up checks and who to put where. It took 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out and another 30 for our food. Half of the food was missing and we kindly corrected her on what was missing which took another 20 minutes to come out. Even then there was still food missing and I guess the server was frustrated so she had her manager finish serving us. We finished up around 10 not because we were taking our time but that’s how much we were delayed by seating and getting our food. I will also add we were the only ones in the restaurant for the last hour with a lot of people standing around that probably could have helped. When we ask for the check the manager comes to say “is this all together”. At this both point I lost it and let her know how bad the whole experience was, including forcing us to pay 20% gratuity even though the waitress didn’t do half her job. Her only words were the waitress was having a bad day, being that she is a mother working on Mother’s Day. I then said my peace that I should not be having to tip over $40 to someone who did nothing right and didn’t even finish serving us and continually did not get us our food in a timely matter. I am highly disappointed in the whole situation and let the manager know how I felt which she started to cry which I hate but at the same time your job is to manage your employees which was not being done well. Not sure who at the restaurant was looking for a pity party but we had two moms with us. I just could not believe how awful it was. One bright side the food was actually decent when we did get most of it. Would recommend for food but not if you want 5...
Read moreAfter three years of amazing service, I need to change this review. Did my family come in on a Saturday night dressed as rednecks because we all worked 60 hour weeks and we were tired? Yes. But we still visited. We came in, our server - she didn’t even tell us her name - took our drink order and appetizer. She brought out a sweet tea for my father in law instead of the beer that was ordered and forgot my mother in laws drink. No biggie. Appetizer came out hot and great! No problems. AFTER WAITING AN HOUR AND A HALF, watching folks around us being served, the manager (female with a brown low ponytail) checking on everyone but us, I went up to the host stand and asked her to check on our food and pointed to the table we were at at the host stand. I was as kind as possible because I know how things can go. I went out with my mother in law for her to smoke. We came back and waited another 15 minutes. I went to the bathroom and legit watched our server put in our order. After an hour and a half. Still no food. After watching the manager avoid our table like the plague, we had to yell in the restaurant to even get her attention! She said she would check on it. I said “what can we do to fix this?” “What would you like me to do to fix this?” “Can we please pay for our drinks, beer, appetizer, and side salad we received and then have everything else comped?” “No, we can’t. But you’ll receive a discount.” This sent me over the edge. I told her to cancel the order. While we were walking out she chased us down and said we needed to pay for the beer. She then tried to apologize FOR THE FIRST TIME and said she was training her servers. I’ve had enough. I told her “I serve tables for ten years and managed many restaurants. You do not give a new server a six table section & expect her to succeed. Do better.” This isn’t a server problem, it’s with management. We...
