We’ve gone twice now. If you’re a parent concerned with safety and/or have younger kids or are an intrusive thought mom. I would avoid it.
Pros: *close to home *Fun as any indoor playground
Cons: *The guys at the front desk were vaping while the kids were playing. 3 moms saw him do it several times and then they argued that he wasn’t and the other guy said it was him.
*The flooring isn’t finished under the play structure so it’s incredibly dirty/dusty already. The nets are already ripped.
*My son has gotten scraped by rogue zip ties that aren’t trimmed both times.
*there’s an unsecured spot in the back right of the structure where all the storage for the tubing is, but it’s not locked in any way. I tried to Velcro it but it didn’t even close.
*Your socks will end up incredibly dirty. I’ve never seen anyone cleaning. Just a lot of leaning (and vaping). Ball pits + foam pits. How are they cleaning those?
*speaking of socks: Non-slip socks are mandatory and if you don’t have them you’ll have to buy them there - but that’s written no where on the website.
The bungee cord climbing thing layers aren’t off centered so if you have a skinny kid it’s a straight shot down.
the bathrooms are original to the movie theatre that was there.
$25/kid with 1 adult. Want to bring a second grown up? That’ll cost you an extra $20
The zip line is fun but auto-retracts SO fast and is face level for most kids.
*The black floor is jacked up by the go carts and held down with black duct tape. Busted toe central.
Both times we came on a Tuesday after school - not a very busy time. This place has so much potential but misses on so many marks. If these are the things I saw, how...
Read moreWe have been to Kiddie Dome twice now and both times my kids (3 and 5 y/o) had a fantastic time! We just had my daughter's fifth birthday there with 15 of her closest friends. All the kids kept saying how much fun they were having. The parents also remarked how great it was for this age group and how much independence the kids had since the playground itself was so massive and maze-like that the kids just spent so much time exploring. The food was catered through a local pizzeria and it was so good! I just ordered things a day ahead and it was perfect.
The place is SO CLEAN too. We regularly saw people cleaning the common areas.
What I love most about this place is that it has a little bit of something for everyone. The indoor playground part had the kids running through the area finding nooks and crannies I didn't see the first time I went there, haha. There's a zip line that leads to a foam pit, an obstacle course and trampoline section so it really did have such variety. We stayed from 9:45am until past 2pm, so it really occupied the kiddos.
The common areas were great for adults as there was a lot of space to hang out and relax. Also had a great little area for toddlers that had a lot of little activities (slides, ball pit, climbing).
HIGHLY recommend. The staff is so nice and...
Read moreWe've been to Kiddie Dome 2x. My kids had a blast each time, but as a parent, my experience wasn't the same. The first time was great. We went during the week. It wasn't crowded, there was lots of staff and someone was always cleaning, which was awesome! The 2nd time, not so much. It was a little busier. The staff this time, was sitting around. Two were playing ping pong in a private room. There's a smaller designated area for toddlers. There was no staff there making sure the bigger kids stayed in their area. The mom's of the babies and toddlers had to make sure their children didn't get kicked in the face by big kids throwing themselves into the toddler ball pit or getting smacked by the balls they decided to throw at each other. Lots and I mean lots of mom's of the littles had to constantly remind the big kids to stay in their area. No one was around cleaning. It was a rainy day and the ceiling was leaking all over. Only one trash can so people were putting garbage everywhere. Oh and in the bathroom, there was part of a toilet seat on the floor. Not sure what was going on with the staff that day, but I left annoyed and disappointed. I'm giving 4 stars because my kids had a blast, but parents need to know...
