A few years ago, I received a letter in the mail saying my debt was being sent to collections by Coastal Fitness because they "forgot" to cancel my membership. It was eventually sorted out and I rejoined last spring, hoping things would be better years later. I got a job that allowed me to use its' own gym, and cancelled again, this time no problems. However, I tried to sign up again this fall and was told I entered the wrong credit card number on the online application, so they couldn't process the card. I called them back and told them I decided against the membership after all. This was in September. I noticed my bank account looked off a couple days ago and realized Coastal had STILL been charging me since then, AND they charged a re-enrollment fee! I called and talked to Cat who was super helpful, and she asked me to call today to talk to the manager. I called 4 times today and conveniently she was "not available" all 4 times. The way this business steals money from it's patrons is disgusting! I can't believe this happened a second time. I will not be rejoining in the future, and have urged everyone I know who goes here not to either.
