STAFF: Great Maint staff keeps old bldg and lot clean. Friendly and helpful bldg staff. Perhaps the kindest I have seen.
NOISE: Very old building with an old parking lot. (Imagine large 1980s concert or boxing venue with stands removed). Large inside area with seperate shows divided only by curtains, can make it very noisy for vendors near the curtain, especially on days when unused area is busy breaking down, dropping metal poles, and dragging displays all day with zero sound barrier or consideration for active vendors who paid about $1500 per booth to have audible conversations. That's not nessesarily the facility's fault or responsibility, but some sound control between show areas would help vendors recoup their costs and come back. Vendors should consider avoiding the thin "curtain wall" area in a biilding with zero sound buffering if your booth rent is high.
REVENUE / ROI: Some shows presented here are free to the public so foot traffic can be there just out of boredom. For cheap "yard sale" shows that's less of a problem. Vendors at Home Shows sometimes still pay an inexplicably high rental rate for "free" shows without getting highest returns from window shopping guests just there for "free" swag and "free" entertainment. Think early Fri morning discount ticket crowd all weekend. Again, that's not up to the facility - just 2025 booth renting vendor ROI info for consideration. High ticket vendors might ask about entry fees and expect diluted results from a...
Read moreHad the annual safety meeting for Harrison's on Saturday 02/01/25 & we were there all day from 7-3:30. It is a comfortable place, clean bathroom & a good staff. The day's highlight was definitely the REALLY, REALLY GOOD LUNCH. Cooked & delivered by a catering company I would definitely 4-5s recommend. Apologies to the caterers, but can't recall their name. They smoked their BBQ Pork over 10 hrs, paired with their Homemade Slaw, Baked Beans & Homemade Banana Pudding for dessert... DELICIOUS ! They set lunch up buffet style, self-serve, eat as much as you want, while you politely remember that around 150, (OR maybe more than that), hungry co-workers had to eat too. Went outside & shared lunch with my wife🦋Jessica. We ate & enjoyed the nice warmer weather 🌤️. Btw, she's typing this review for y'all.💯 ***...
Read moreFirst time going. Went for the reptile expo but noticed the indoor flea market was there to and checked it out. Lots of stuff there, saw some good deals on stuff. But the lady that sells the Banana bread and cookies and the pot holders. She was the absolute sweetest. My friends 4 year old face planted the floor and busted her lip, the lady was quick to grab one of her towels, had some ice and said here put this on her lip. I think it upset her as bad as it did me and the momma. I didn't catch her name but if you see this. Thank you! The world needs more people like you. And we will be back to get some of those baked goodies. The banana bread looked mouth...
