Kutztown Park is a hidden gem for families! The childrenâs area is fantasticâwith multiple play structures, a covered sandbox full of toys, and plenty of space for kids to run and explore. There are clean bathrooms nearby (a big plus for parents), and lots of shade from the mature trees that line the park. We loved the paved walking paths, perfect for strollers or scooters, and the covered, screened-in bandstand adds a charming touch. The skate park is a fun bonus for older kids, and there are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions for a relaxing lunch. It was the perfect place to spend a peaceful afternoon outside....

One could get a good workout just walking around the park. It's not flat but rather hilly. I saw basketball, tennis, ball diamonds, and a skate park. Not many parks I visit have such a facility. Both play structures were fun. And the merry go round that you climb was cool We didn't know about the slate park so we didn't bring a bike/skateboard but the kids had fun sliding down the ramps on their butt.
