I went to my local cvs last night to get a “windi” or something to relieve my 6 week old gas pain since gas drops or gripe water had not worked and he had been screaming for the past 12 hours. I looked online, the website says this cvs was open until 9:30pm, I arrived at 9:02pm to find the doors locked. A nice man was leaving and apologized but informed me the store closed early today. Desperate, I explained my problem with my baby and he called over a lady (I did not get her name) who was also leaving. Her response.. “oh no the store is closing early today because I have been here since 7am”…..and “ we are short staffed” I’m sorry… what? First of all it’s your JOB! When you applied and was hired for your corporate job, you knew the hours and knew there would be days were you would have to fill in or take a extra shift! If you don’t like it find another career path. Secondly, EVERYONE IS “SHORT STAFFED” but guess what? Alot of businesses (specially corporate jobs) still run regular hours. AGAIN get a different job if you don’t like it. Thirdly, I understand your tired and want to go home.. I’m tired too.. I’m tired because my 6 week old has been screaming all day and I was relying on cvs to be open because they don’t sell Windi or anything like that at grocery store. Lastly, DO BETTER! I know it was only 30 minutes but that 30 minutes (that you should of been open) was important to a new mom who is tired, frustrated and upset because her...
Read moreI have been using the Kutztown CVS pharmacy for close to 20 years and been fairly satisfied with pharmacy and extra care benefits shopping in store. In the past 6 months, it has become the MOST FRUSTRATING, PATHETIC experience trying to get prescriptions filled. The drive thru is hardly ever open, sign stating short staffed. Then you go inside to a line of 6-8 people waiting for 1/2 - 1hr. for meds. You may as well not even have automated phone service to call in renewals! After calling in and waiting 2 days to pick up, still not ready, and TOLD THEY ARE 3 DAYS BEHIND FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS. YES, I KNOW I CAN CHANGE PHARMACIES AND AM LOOKING INTO IT. But I just need to tell you how completely ridiculous this is becoming. You can't call to renew meds too early, they won't fill it, then you renew on time and they are so far behind that my husband has run out of heart medication! This review is NOT directed at the employees, I believe this is a Corporate problem. Either fix it or close...
Read moreI’m officially going to look for someplace else to get prescriptions besides CVS. I feel like I always have issues with them. I went to the one on Tilghman and they said they couldn’t ring me out because they’re registers were down even if I gave them exact cash. So I asked when the registers would be up and they said they didn’t know so I asked them to transfer it to Kutztown. I asked them will it be ready by the time I drive to Kutztown in 20 minutes and they said yes. I tried to call Kutztown and make sure that they knew I was coming, but it would not let me talk to a real person. Then we get to Kutztown and they say that they will try to rush it but they are going on lunch at 1:30. I get a text message that the prescription is ready to be picked up at 1:25 while I’m in the store and I go up and everything is closed down and they are...
