CAMILLO’S was easy to see from the road. My son and I arrived at around 6:30pm on a Friday in June (after attending the 33rd Annual World War II Weekend in Reading) and parking was open but soon filled up. ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND RAMP NEAR THE FRONT DOOR. A friendly staff member promptly greeted us upon entering. There were people inside eating but the music was a bit too loud for us. We asked if we could sit outside (unsure because no one was sitting at the patio when we arrived), and were made to feel very welcome to do so. PATIO SERVICE was prompt and friendly. The patio continued receive guests to include a couple with a well behaved dog and a family of 7 with young children. DOG FRIENDLY PATIO HAD A BOWL FOR WATER WAITING. We ordered two coke’s and a large pizza with two toppings on one half and five on the other half. The cokes arrived within minutes and the food followed about 20 minutes later. We asked for ranch dressing and another coke and we weren’t charged for either! The pizza was plenty filling and we had 3-1/2 slices left over. A little slow to bring our check but we knew she was busy. The total was $33.13 (all out extra toppings added up but it was worth it. There is a 3.75% convenience fee to use a credit card so we opted to pay cash. $40.00 when it was all said and done. WELL WORTH THE STOP. BONUS: The patio is in the shade in early evening - great on a hot day. Also, the tables have umbrellas. NOTE: Outdoor tables and benches are made of concrete which rough on clothes and skin but they have seat cushions available in an outside bin near the patio door.

*Wing night* As an avid fan of wings and wing nights Camillos surprised me with their wing night. Price: $14.99 for unlimited wings. This is a great price when compared to other locations. (4/5) Wings: The wings were medium to large in size, very filling. All were very hot when arriving at the table. Sauce covered the wings generously. (4/5) Flavors: 15 flavors, inferno is their spiciest wing and it super spicy I can appreciate that. Most of their flavors are basic ones you can find at most places. (3/5) Included with purchase: Pitcher of beer or soda. First serving of wings comes out as 12 followed by servings of 6. You are not allowed to take any wings from your meal home though. (4/5) Service: Our waitress was great never had to ask for something. Drinks stayed full, she was very talkative with the whole table.(5/5) Wait: When there my table was the only one in the restaurant. There were four of us and the wait was not too bad. After our order it took 16:31 for the food to arrive at the table. (4/5) Overall Camillos was a clean, friendly, inviting restaurant with great prices. There is the option of a dessert menu which is always great. Full open bar with great service I would eat here again solid 4/5 PS: Their water is pretty good

The owner's daughter who manages the restaurant is very arrogant, rude, confrontational and has absolutely no concept about what good customer service entails. Three times in the past I became sick after eating their chef salad; however, she offered no apologies each time I informed her of this and merely said that I'm the only person who has ever become sick. I never once requested a refund and explained that I merely wanted to make her aware, but nevertheless she was defensive and argumentative. Mind you, my mother who also ate their chef salad became ill as well. As a result, I refrained from ordering it for several months, but thought I would give it another try and ordered a large chef’s salad. This time, the owner's daughter prepared it herself and served only 2 black and 2 green olives, a few cherry tomatoes chopped into small pieces and onions cut into large chunks. After serving me the large chef salad, she left the establishment. I asked the waiter why the chef salad's contents were so rationed when on the prior occasions I had ordered it, it contained 5-6 whole cherry tomatoes and 5 -6 green and black olives, as well as, thinly sliced onions, but he wasn't aware of any difference. When I entered the establishment two days later, she was hostile and began arguing with me that she's tired of having me complain about everything and that she doesn't know if I'm a chronic complainer, but that she doesn't appreciate it, because her waiter told her upon her return to the restaurant that I had complained about my salad. She also stated that I insulted her chef when I made a comment to her father upon exiting the restaurant that had he been there when I arrived, I would have ordered the pizza instead. I explained that I was not complaining about my salad and that I merely made a statement to the waiter that months ago when I used to order the chef salad, which was usually prepared by a former employee, the contents were not as rationed. She replied that since she orders and pays for the food, she instructs her employees on how much of each product to include on each order. She also stated that she fired the individual who previously prepared my salad. I also explained that I was not insulting her chef when I complimented her father by telling him that I missed his presence earlier that afternoon, because I like the flavor of the pizza he prepares. She then replied that she doesn't understand why I would like the pizza her father prepares better since all the chefs use the same ingredients. It was obvious that she wanted to provoke an argument and didn't value me as a customer, although I had been going there for many years. In view of her blatant hostility and abrasiveness, I have no intention of ever visiting this restaurant again! Restaurant owners and managers should treat customers with respect, courtesy and professionalism, not with disdain and aggression. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant if you expect to receive good customer service from...

Very disappointing. Ordered food online. They charged me an extra $3 stating it was an “adjustment.” Here they said extra side was wrong price so they just decided to charge me a different price. Not the customers fault if the price is wrong - I wouldn’t have ordered any extra had I known the “real” price. You can’t just have one price online and then charge people a different price. Neither the owner nor the app agreed to fix this I will NEVER order from them again and they are only a block from my house- plenty of better pizza places to order from who charge clear prices and taste better. Don’t waste your $! Plus, took an hour and 45 min to get my food!

Hello again. First of all, don’t be so condescending. I’m not an idiot. I did NOT ask for extras and expect to not pay. I used the drop down list and paid $2 for extra extra ricotta. Am I supposed to be clairvoyant and know what your “true” cost would naturally be? Seriously? How would I know? If I had known you would charge me $5 instead of $2, I would NEVER have added ANY EXTRAS. For that price I can add my own container of ricotta! I did NOT expect to get something for nothing. There was NOT a lot of ricotta in thr Stromboli anyway….Secondly, it is MONDAY, NOT the weekend and when I said it took a long time to get my food, I said AN HOUR AND 45 minutes NOT 45 min to an hour. Maybe you could read my comments and respond appropriately rather than making stuff up to make yourself look better. I paid for what your menu said in SLICE including EXTRAS! If it is incorrect in SLICE, that is YOUR PROBLEM with SLICE, NOT the customer’s! Customers expect to pay what the price says online and not something different. That is FRAUD- otherwise what’s to stop you from tacking on other charges to things? If I was at a grocery store and the price for the product said $2, I would expect to pay $2 not $5…. And if I was charged otherwise, I would go to customer service or NOT CHOSE TO GET THE PRODUCT. I was not offered a choice here at all nor told why I was up -charged, it was just sneakily tacked onto my bill as an “adjustment” not even as an EXTRA. By not taking responsibility you look even worse as a business, just blaming a customer for an error with a system you work with. Either get rid of the system or fix it but don’t pass the error onto customers or you will have more angry ones...

I’ll start by saying my review is based off the customer service - not the food. The food tastes amazing.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences and will not be back.

The first was when I placed an order for pickup that was ready 1 hour before they closed. I showed up to pick it up - it was pouring out. I went to open the doors and they were ALL locked. Even the side entrance. The doors are glass. I kept knocking, and people were looking at me and NOBODY was letting me in. Keep in mind I’m maintaining eye contact with these employees. It’s not like they didn’t notice me.

After about 5 minutes someone opened the door for me, the owner opened the door for me, and then asked his employees why the doors were locked. They clearly had a lack of respect for him and they all shrugged him off. He wasn’t very assertive. Then I stood at the counter waiting to pick up my food for another 5 minutes. Nobody said anything to me, at all, until a bigger guy with some stubble and a shaved head came up to me and said “Sorry we’re closed” and then started walking off as I told him I was picking up an order. He was super grumpy and didn’t say much as I checked out. Whatever, at that point I just wanted my food and to leave!

The second instance was about 5 months after, my first time back since then. I placed a pickup order, went inside, and the same rude guy from last time was standing at the counter. Without saying a word, he looked at me, and raised his eyebrows. I told him I was picking up my order. He grabbed my pizza, threw it on the counter, and that was it. Didn’t say hello, goodbye, or really even acknowledge me at all. I paid over the phone so thankfully I didn’t have to deal with him to check out.

Again, the pizza is great, the service is NOT. I won’t be back. Good luck to the new owner and I hope he gets a grip...
