Kyle Library Thrift Shop — Attraction in Kyle

Their are extremely rude there, especially if you're dropping off items also you happen to drop them off in the Dropbox in the daytime! The reason for my 2 Stars instead of 1 star, is because the selections are good. Also I thought the money they received from items you buy would go to charity, however with their rudeness I don't know if they pocket the money or if they actually donate it and help people in need. Rudeness is usually associated with other Unbecoming attitudes. One of the times that I also mistakenly put items in the Dropbox during the day. A woman was sitting there smoking watching me, and she let me put more than half my items in the drop box then she said you're not supposed to put those items in there, in the daytime. This is after I had more than half the items already in the dropbox. She was very rude and she acted like I should know at that time there was no sign since then they have put a sign that I'm aware of it's still there. Also I had my young son with me who was about 3 years old at the time. This was the reason why I was using the Dropbox so I would not have to take him out of the car. I had parked the car right next to the Dropbox so I would have all sight of my son. The rude woman continue to tell me I had to put the items inside close to the door I told her there was no way I had my little boy with me. And some of the items were very heavy. I know this place sells toys and other children's items so it seems like they would help to a mother that had a child with her. The woman kept on smoking and blowing it directly towards the window where my son was on purpose. He started to cough and I told her that I needed help with my items if I was going to have to put them by the door she said that's not my problem lady. I asked her if she would stop blowing her smoke into my car, she said mind your own business. What it is my business my child doesn't need smoke in his face he was choking on it. And she was blowing it directly into my car. The business really needs to get rid of that woman and a couple of others too and if that woman happens to be the owner, well people need to boycott her place then. I really don't know how the place stays in business. They remodeled which tells me they make the money. It is sad too because most the time I had gone there they had items I couldn't find anywhere else that I've been looking for. I hope the management actually see this or the owner hopefully the owner or management are not as rude as this person that was smoking in my child's face. I had to take my son to the doctor because he was acting funny the next day. And she said he may have an allergy to smoke. It is possible you know. I could tell the woman Not only was rude but she had a lot of bitterness in her heart she shouldn't be working for a place that is supposed to be helping...

What a great find in the middle of Kyle!! Everything was super clean and organized and the staff was beyond helpful! The staff was also super friendly and seems like they enjoyed working there. The clothing was sorted nicely by size and color as well as season so it's easy to go through stuff. Also a great value price wise. I got two pairs of jeans and 4 shirts for under $20. I also noticed that green tag items were 50% off today and I think each day is a different color but not sure. I also liked the way they had their house where as well organized as well as the kids section. Will definitely be back again! Plus it's nice knowing the profits go towards...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! I LOVE all of the people that donate here too. I always find way more things that I just have to have. I have been shopping here for at least 7 years, if not longer. I’ve been a Kyle resident for almost 14 years... so I have been a big fan of this store for a long time. The staff is always very friendly and fun. What I LOVE the most is that ALL proceeds benefit The Kyle Library 💜 You guys have all done an amazing job with the store. It looks great! I will be there shortly!...
