We had been recommended this restaurant, especially for their lunch deals. Last night we went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Pricing definitely hikes up for dinner, but I could see why with the cuts of meat related to those dishes and current inflation rates.
Yes, it is a humble space and the staff may not have English as their first language, but we did not feel slighted or ignored in any way.
We came in, waited per the sign, and were told to choose where we wanted to sit. In a timely fashion our drink order was taken and brought to us, food was quick and it was. So. Good!
For context, we are all born and raised Texans and are familiar with tex-Mex and Mexican dishes. No disappointment here!
They don't bring you your bill, you go up and pay. They have your bill already at the register. There is a notice of a service charge for credit card payment, so bring cash if you want to avoid a small additional fee (ours was $1 and some change for a $45 meal for 3 adults.)

Read moreThis was one of the original Mexican restaurants that has been here since I moved to Kyle in 2001. I had stopped going years ago because the food was mediocre. Today, we decided to stop in for breakfast. I figured I would give them another shot since I always see the parking lot full. I opted for a taco with eggs, bacon and cheese. I also ordered a barbacoa taco and a picadillo taco. First of all, the bacon was chopped in small bits. I would rather have my bacon in full strips. The "build your own taco" was smaller than some gas station tacos. Not to mention, the tortilla was not even homemade. The bacon tasted burned. They barely put any eggs in my taco. For 3 tacos and a tea, it was over $15. It was not worth it at all. The only good thing was the service was really good. The food is still mediocre. You are better off going elsewhere if you want Mexican food. Sorry Pisces, I am not sure how you are even still open with the quality of...
Read moreIt's CRAZY how a business could still be open for business. I was charged for a sweet tea and a lemonade separate just because I I ordered an Amapalmer drink. The cash register lady with Star Tattoos, said they served tea and lemonade, so she had to charge me for both drinks. I explained that I didn't get a full cup of each. An Amapalmer is just half tea and half lemonade. If there was zero stars rating on this site I would choose that. Service was the worst. I wanted to know how can anyone treat customers rudely. To begin with food was awful. I asked for nachos with beef and veggies on the side. They brought me the toughest, hard and dry chips. The fajita tasted old and they were extremely burnt. I requested them to redo my order, but they seemed to bring me back the same food. I will Never recommend or come back here. Worst Food, worst service and...
