I visited this location to send important documents to USCIS. I handed the clerk my phone with the official USCIS mailing address displayed directly from the USCIS website. He took his time typing it out, and I specifically asked him to double-check it. He confirmed that he had entered the address correctly. I requested overnight shipping (which cost more than $70), but the clerk convinced me that even with general shipping, my package would most likely be delivered the next day. I trusted his word, paid, and the documents were sent. The next day, while tracking my package, I discovered that the address had been entered incorrectly. I immediately returned to the store to explain the situation. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering any apology, the lady that I spoke with was dismissive and unprofessional. She told me it was my responsibility to check the address, despite the fact that I had handed my phone directly to the clerk and even provided a copy of the address in my notes. At no point was I asked to verify the final address on the screen, contrary to what she claimed. The energy and attitude I experienced were unacceptable. I requested to have my documents returned. I was told I would receive a call once the package was back. According to tracking, the package was returned to the store on Saturday morning. However, no one ever called me. By Monday, I went back in person. Another employee assisted me but insisted the package had not yet been delivered even though tracking clearly showed it had arrived. I asked him to ask the same lady who I had spoken with to help him find my package which she did. That guy didn’t even apologize. The core issue here is a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service. A simple acknowledgment of error and an apology could have made a difference, but instead I was met with denial and disrespect. On top of that, there was no refund for the wasted time, money, and stress. This location has proven to be incompetent, careless, and untrustworthy. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place, it is simply not worth the time,...
Read moreI love the reviews by "Google User"s. They are all negative and most are erroneous as they blame The UPS Store when in fact they should be complaining to Corporate Customer Service that handles lost and damaged goods. It takes an ignorant person to blame the first person they see just because UPS happens to be in the name. If they did their homework and used logic and objectivity they'd know that The UPS Store is a franchise and has NO CONTROL over what happens during transit. Then again, only and ignorant coward would post a negative comment without the courage to use their actual name. And anyone who complains unjustly or ignorantly should really check their emotions before ranting. Reviews are meant to be objective and not a psoting ground for your trantrum at not getting what you want. As for the person who was allegedly told to "get the F out of the store"... I'm guessing you weren't an angel and for the Owner to have to get to that, you more than likely had it coming.
I will say this, The UPS Store in Kyle is one of the most professional, friendly, and well run businesses in Kyle. Their hours of operation are more than sufficient (for the customer complaining, try thinking about cost and demand versus your inconvenience). Being open 6 days a week is exceptional for a place like Kyle. The staff is intelligent and hard working and Don, the Owner, is perhaps one of the best employers I've ever met. Unlike many employers in TX who use their employees and exploit the substandard labor laws this State still has, Don treats his staff like family and is always there for them. Which is probably why the staff is always there help. When you walk in you feel welcome because they actually remember you. I've never had a problem with The UPS Store in Kyle or it's staff. And I will always highly recommend this store to anyone who wants...
Read moreDO NOT TRUST UPS, SPECIFICALLY THIS STORE. Our expensive computer items ($500 worth) were delivered to this store for pickup and UPS doesn’t deliver to our apartment “because of theft” that’s understandable. My fiancé sent me up to the store to pick up the items the lady said I was not able to due to our addresses on our ID’s not matching (recently moved) and told me the only person she legally can hand the package to is my fiancé the receiver of said package. Again, completely fine. One day later we get a notification saying his package had been picked up. It was not him. They allowed someone to come into the store and impersonate my fiancé without a legal ID and stole our packages from said store. (Not a single soul knew about these items besides the store) when she told my fiancé that someone impersonated him, forged his signature and that she gave them the packages he had me immediately call the cops and start filing a report for stolen mail ( a federal crime ) the police officer then calls the store and now none of the employees will cooperate and give any information to the police. Do not trust this store with anything worth money, they’ll just have their employees steal it under the disguise of “someone random”. Also not very secure with your packages if random people can easily go inside and impersonate you without any real identification. (I think it’s ironic they won’t deliver to our apartment because of theft just for it to be stolen from their UPS store, all they did was change the location of theft it would’ve been safer on my...
