I only write reviews when I feel strong about my impression of a business whether good or bad. My daughter had her wedding at The Cargill Room, and worked with the wedding planner Kristina. My rating is as follows: Kristina: five stars, professional, organized and personable ,even when tension was at a high level. Food: excellent, it was served out very quickly, and was hot and delicious. This can and has been an issue at other wedding venues, the food not hot or being served promptly. Decorum: excellent My daughter had all decorations dropped off and it was up to the staff to decorate. It was beautiful how it was all arranged. Serving Staff: Excellent, very friendly, classy and helpful. They took their job serious and it showed. In summary, I was very happy with the outcome of my daughter and son in laws wedding. Had a wonderful experience for my wedding that was planned in 10 weeks. I worked with Sara (event planner) who was professional, organized, and helped accommodate tailoring the wedding to make it uniquely ours from food to decorations. The planning process was organized and methodical, including a final meeting to verify all the logistics to ensure accuracy. The food is outstanding and well worth the price. We did the prime rib and salmon. Received many compliments, with several guests saying it was the best prime rib they had. The serving staff were prompt, professional, classy and attentive. The staff also did a phenomenal job setting up the decorations (e.g., votives, vases, ) to create a romantic and classy look.
