I've been a resident in La Habra for 25 years and I try my hardest not to into this Stater Bros, I rather drive farther to Albertsons, Wal-Mart or Ralph's. The customer service sucks here, the butcher department, these young kids nowadays don't have any type of customer service skills whatsoever. In an emergency situation yesterday, 1/30/25 I had to get some chicken and French bread, I stopped here hoping for a pleasant quick trip in and out, the youngster in the meat department very rudely asks, did you need something? Like I was bothering him, little does he know, me buying food here is what makes his pay check, I asked for a 1.5 lb of chicken breast and his behavior and attitude acted like I was ordering 50 lbs lol After yesterday, I vowed to never step foot in this location ever again, emergency or not, I'll drive farther or pay more at other stores, it's only this location I have felt this way about, The Stater Bros on Mulberry is the complete opposite, they are super friendly and have amazing staff with good customer service skills, I will definitely spread the word among neighbors and...
Read moreI recently went into this Stater Brothers as I was visiting a family member near the store. This store was my main grocery store for many years 73-76 & 84-98. The store hasn't changed much. Still looks almost the same. I went to buy potted flowers and found a good selection at prices below Home Depo or Lowe's. Actually they had great selection, fresh and ended up buying 4x what I planned. I walked around and found it well stocked. A little crowded as they had many choices of various products. The produce department was well stocked with grade A produce at prices lower than Costco or other local stores. I again ended up buying several items due to the quality and prices. If I would have been close to home or had an icebox I probably would have bought some meat. It all looked great and prices were less than stores near my house in Riverside county. I'd give the store a 5 star rating but the store seems a little rundown and dated. Staff like all StaterBrothers, always there to serve. Next time I'm in the area, I'm stopping by again, they may have more items I need at...

There is handicapped parking, entrance, aisles in store ,even for electronic wheelchair. Staff super friendly, and will help you quickly. Especially those items in hard to reach places. Produce is fresh with great selection being smaller store. Dairy, eggs are budget friendly priced. Meat is the best, Staters has a great reputation for Meat dept. Wide ethnic choices also. Location, location. It's great having a market close to home. On hot days I will make a stop , just to pick up Mexican dairy icecreams, fruit pops, big sticks for the kids. Yum. Makes me want to eat one now. Restroom available for shoppers. This market will not disappoint. Even has liquor, wine selection at front of store. Ask for assistance if needed.
