Michaels — Attraction in La Mesa

The man and lady at the front counter were incredibly rude this evening. I came in five minutes before closing, knowing exactly what I wanted. I just didn’t know where it was and they happily noted as I walked in that the store was closing.

I got to self check out within three minutes and as I was checking out, I realized I forgot my wallet in my car.

They had locked the doors and I nicely said I had to go get my wallet in my car. My order was already run up and no one was behind me, and the guy said, “sorry we’re closed. You can’t come back in.” I had rung up everything I just needed to pay and there were still technically two minutes until they closed.

The other lady at the front counter gave me attitude and she said “it’s OK. She can go this time.” As if she was showing me who was boss..

The only nice thing about the employees today was the other lady who was cleaning up. As I walked out, she told me to have a nice day in caring attitude.

The two workers at checkout need to be taught by the other lady about customer service.

Look for a permanent lacquer paint marker for the Little nicks and scratches for my car. It works well if you get the right paint color match. And the marker was cheap. Covers all scratches make sure you get the fine point. Then give your car a real good wax job, I usually stack about 2 more or 3 good carnauba wax, and seal it with a good nano ceramic sealer for a well protected mirror, glossy paint. It really works, I do it about every 2 years did it when I first bought the car in 2023, and just finished today it takes about a week. Anyways Michaels is a good place to go if you need little stuff like that, and they had very good service I was helped by one of the ladies that work there to find the right marker I was looking for we walked in a few spots until found. I was interested in getting a collage frame, when I received a sale flyer from Michael's which advertised 50% off exactly what I wanted online. I logged on to their website and it indicated, "Not Available". So, off to the store I went, where they are available, except in the store, you have to buy one at regular price to get one 50% off. No biggie, I didn't make a purchase and left a bad review on their site for what I called, "Bait and Switch".

Today, I received a notice from Michael's that my review didn't meet their guidelines and couldn't be published publicly.

I guess only good reviews meet the guidelines.
