Fairly well maintained body of water within the La Mirada Park! Small enough to walk around in just a few minutes, it makes a great scenic place for a leisurely stroll, as well as a beautiful backdrop with a game of disc golf. Although large enough to lose a disc, without a dry means to reach it! Though what constitutes a lake? I pondered the question after seeing this place on the map. There doesn’t seem to be a yardstick to go by, or a scene of boats and swimmers. And while swimming isn’t permitted here, a quicken dip for a disk may understandably be par for the course! There are however large waterfowl, including ducks and geese. This so-called lake is also known for fishing and photography. Though of all my references, my Google Maps designation is good...
